You could turn that into a heat wand with a couple things, just pick up a small copper pipe and 2 end caps from Home Depot and a toggle power switch from Radio Shack. Drill a hole in each cap, 1 for cord & 1 for element. Then drill a hold for the toggle switch. Paint if you want.
