@TerraLawliet22 As I understand his back story, at least in the first anime version, Anderson's family was killed by vampires, and he was close to suicide before he became a paladin. Take into consideration that Alucard is not only a vampire, but working for the protestants, and that Anderson was specifically trained to kill both, why do you think he hates him?

What beautiful music. I also love the stark contrast between Anderson's blue and Alucard's red. Anderson's power is capable of igniting anything unholy or satanic, while the Vampire King can melt crosses likewise.

While it is an excellent duel, I kind of wish their "monster battle" went on for a little longer. I liked Anderson's new form and his powers.

He seems to be able to affect even Alucard's immortality - able to fight him on equal terms, and very nearly defeat him.

@sweetblackblood1 He definitely does. Anderson's last word is, of course, "Amen." Out of respect for him (especially since he was such a worthy opponent), Alucard repeats "Amen" to his remains with a sincere smile on his face.

Far as we know, Anderson is the first to discern a reason why Alucard became a vampire in the first place, so that he "wouldn't have to cry anymore."

@deaddragon1 read Hellsing: The Dawn. it tells the events before the present Hellsing timeline. It's set in 1942 at Warsaw, with young Walter and Girlycard as the main characters and of course the Nazis.
