@msullivan86 dont forget 350zs run premium gas and is a 2 seater. they will argue oh bigger engine and a v8 but really though the v6s are built strong and they get higher rpms so its the same. they should be lighter to since they are a 2 seater and a smaller engine and they are both around equal in weight. gas mileage is the same but he will spend more buying premium. Speed wise both cars run exactly the same in the quarter mile 14.0 flat stock. Mustangs are great cars i love the 99-04 models

I raced a Supercharged Z the other night in my GT, exhaust intake and 4.10's. 1st race I held a car length on him. 2nd one I let him jump on me then he had me by a car length then in 4th i slowly pulled but ran outta room. I was like damn. You need to get some gears for ur GT man, they wake our cars up a shit load. Good run though

Know your facts: 2v 4.6 aren't small blocks. Put a 5.0 beside it and you'll see. Theyre heavier, even with the aluminum heads. Stock 260hp GT WILL keep up with a 287hp Z because of 302 tq v.s. 274. Shitty suspension? The 2V GT cost about 23k brand new. A base 350z cost about 29k, and I think you don't even get the LSD at that price. Put the difference of money on the stang and it will match the Z in the curves and beat it on the straight. 2V GTs are also lighter than Z. Those are facts

Mr MegaTronn please do your research. A stock Z will easily take most any mustang GTs clear up til the 05 stang(which i admit i'm not sure about). Mind you I'm speaking from experience of watches races on the street AND the track. 350s are nothing to take lightly.

a z isnt putting 1000hp on a stock motor like the terminator. I think thats what hes trying to say. Check out hellions new tt/sc kit for the cobra 1200+hp
The sad truth is that you have to put two hairdryers on your car to keep up with a stock V8 so you fail at life jamesjdm. Not downing the 350Z but it's people like you that give certain cars a bad rep. Try running your mouth after you go against a stock GT.
i raced my friend earlier, he has a 2005 mustang gt stock, and i was in my 2007 350z and i won by 2 cars. both cars are stock. with the mustang having more torque, than my car, i wasn't impressed. he got me on take off. but he still lost in the end. where it matters.

340 hp / 300 tq at the time. I'm no longer supercharged now though. Currently TT with 375 hp and 400 tq. :)
