What's really impressive about FF is that it has 16 (X-2 and Dirge of Cerberus included) games and only about 15% of them aren't pure golden goodness. All the rest ARE.

Someone asked a few months ago for a list up to FF 8 so I replied. No need to be an ass about it and yes I looked up 3 because I hadn't played it before and didn't know the answer. If you know it all then instead of being a dick why not just post the answer. You seem to be the one that fails here not me and so you know I finished all the FF's except 3, 11 and 14 because online ones don't count in my opinion.

Have to say, you've got your nostalgia goggles on pretty tight there. I can't see anything the nes version holds over the ds. The soundtrack on the nes was just peircing noise compared to the remake, and the game itself had less content, and was far more basic.

@HatredEternal heres the deal, a port is only as good as its emulator, so the original is always the best, since emulators have a history of not doing a good job(a ps2 needs a ps1 emulator built in to play ps1 games ect. the cartridge of a ds would need the wherever its source is built in ect) that means theres less room on there because of the emulation and that means the quility is never as good.

Final fantasy 6 might be a better game for its time.. but if i had to choose between 6 and 7.. i choose 7. Why? Because i think 7 had the best overall game feel. I am not saying 6 didn't have that.. Its just when i played 7 i was so sucked in to the game. All the characters really felt alive.. and had personallity. ''random person: but cloud is emo!!'' Well maybe he is, but atleast he got a good story to back him up. In my opinion 7 had a better soundtrack too.
