OK world – I did many things wrong here; using a metal lathe to turn wood, no glasses, no apron, messy area, lathe cross slide screw protector is 'off', and I am barefoot. Thank you all for your concern. In spite of your insults, long ago I have since gotten some glasses, I made a wood turning lathe with this metal lathe, and cleaned up..but still no apron..that’s a first over the years...think I’ll leave the comment for all us ’bone heads’ to consider..they reproduce as soon as deleted anyhow
