You hang in there, MA, my son was a 'band geek' in school and he loved it. But now, even those who thought he was nerdy back then look up to him. He's been on jazz cd's, has one of his own that gets a lot of play in Toronto and is college music instructor. He's travelled the world performing and always feels grateful for the life he's built around his love of music...The people in your life will come around; just keep doing what you love :)
