Guys I am planning to learn n do the stage show for Diwali. Could anyone knows if this movie dubbed or remake in Telugu? If yes please let me know what movie. I live in Melbourne. Or any dance teachers here in Melbourne I am happy to take classes. Anyway what a beautiful dance by these guys yeah. Some reason I am so connected to lord shiva. I love him so much. I love his dance too. Wld love to learn dance but sad I cldnt find any masters here.

@eesh1979 The name of the movie is SHABARIMALA SWAMY AYYAPA. It's a Kannada movie. I am not sure whether it was dubbed in any other languages. It was released in 90's. It's still screened every January, as it's the holy month of lord AYYAPPA. The artist as lord Shiva is Shridhar, he is a bharathanatya dancer. And as Goddess Parvathi is Sudharani, a renowned actress in Kannada.You can type in goggle as above to get some more information. That's all I can help you out. All the best. Cheers!!

@eesh1979 If you are interested in these sort of music, there is one more movie by name SRI MANJUNATHA. It's in kannada and telugu. The music of that movie is also pretty good. Just give a try to listen it. It's here in you tube. I think you might like it!!!

wow...this has to be the best shiva tandav dance i have seen so far in many of the movies i have seen in several languages of India.Its clearly evident that both of them are very well trained and showed exquisite skill in moves specific to this form of dance.

@fullmmonmax, the four hands of shiva is a latter invention of shiva devotees to counter vishnu's form with four hands, as depicted by vaishnavaites.

The beginning music is for 'tandava nrutya', i believe the tune composed of drums & 'shankha's as main instruments sound similar when the tune has 2 serve 'tandava nrutya' no matter who is the music director or which language it is. I can give you similar tones from 50's mythological movies from all the languages kannada, telugu, tamil.

This 'tandava nrutya' tone is quite ubiquitous and unfortunately you cannot call it a copied one.
