Eureka is not being canceled. They ordered 13 episodes for season 3 but dueto the writers strike they uped it to 21 so they can have a profitable season. They will be returning about spring to mid 2009 with the rest of the 13 episodes left in the season. I got this straight for the Eurekas writer's blog. I am really happy that this show will continue. The site also said that Eureka is one of Sci-Fi's top rated show so I doubt it will go anywhere anytime soon.

This is such a fun show. It manages to combine drama with just enough sci-fi and comedy to keep from taking itself to seriously. I hope they keep it running for a long time.
