So can anybody help me out? I cant decide whether to get the Ring Mod or Freqbox, I play a bass guitar but I also do noise with it and various effects, what would be the best thing for good variable synthy crazy effects?

i liked how they muted sound so we could exlclude the talking and hear the effects only of the unit - in case anyone wants to record unite effects only with line - in jack for this video. Great consideration, keep up the good work.

I bet it's gonna be awesome in combination with a bass guitar, for some electro tunes... kinda Daft Punk... Sure you could probably achief the same sound with a regular analog synth, but guitar is so much more expressive instrument.

I'll put it on my wish list right away :P

Is there an expression pedal input for the Frequency Control?

Yes, there is a control voltage input for Frequency, Waveform, Envelope Amount, FM Amount and Mix! If you wanted you could plug 5 expression pedals into it or connect it in interesting ways with other control voltage gear.
