More of a tribute to an amateurish cover version of the song.

I like the Chili's and john frusciante is very tallented but its just nothing special at all!

The original is unbelievably good.. nobody can touch Ian Curtis for that style of music.

I'd expect Ian Curtis' attempt at funk rock to be equally inadequate!

Frusciante was a little more "out there" in his interpretation, and nobody else can be the first to do New Dawn Fades, but this pretty good. Joy Division were amateurs, too - drawing lines like that is what kills art.

Man, I had no idea one could do such an amazing acoustic cover of that song. I loved Joy Division's original, I adored Moby's cover (I think it's one of the very best cover jobs ever, he kept the original despair, and actualised it with some hardcore electro, check it out).

Anyway, brilliant man, I'll be searching for the chords to that song soon, though I don't stand a chance to do half as good a job.

Je t'ai découvert grace à tes duos avec Joul (qui sont vraiment très bons, soit dit en passant) . Curieuse comme je suis, je suis allée découvrir ton univers...Et j'aime beaucoup. So there are no realy complete chords..

Then, you have to play with TWO strings only and mute all the strings that you don't play

With those two strings you do the bass-line and the guitar-line in the same time.
