Kobe has spent his entire career trying to be someone he's not and never could be. The tongue, the facial expressions, even the inflections of his voice when he is interviewed. It's kind of creepy actually. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player - maybe even in the top 10 all time, but he's not MJ.

@LakersCP3 I was being generous saying he might be top ten. He's not even the best Laker of all time. One MVP and two scoring titles doesn"t put him the upper echelon of the NBA's all-time greats. LeBron already has 2 MVP awards and Kevin Durant is getting ready to win another scoring title. If you want to talk championships, I think that is a flawed debate because teams win championships, nit individuals. Based on championships, Luke Walton is better than LeBron James and CP3.

I think we've seen the best of Kobe Bryant. His game is already slowing down. I would like the guy if people didn't compare him to someone like Jordan. Comparing the 2 cast a huge shadow over Kobe's game and make such a great talent sceptic. Anyway i'll miss the guy when he's gone. He's a great player for his era.

trusting your teammates isnt passing the ball to an open man in the driving lane, trusting your teammates is lebron giving up a driving layup to give donyell marshall an open 3, even if he did miss. plus making a good pass doesnt make you not a ballhog, it means you're playing 82 plus games a season and are bound to make some good passes

No, trusting you teammates is realizing when you are going to have a bad game and get your team involved. That's what Kobe does, he won't pass if he's on fire but who would. LeBron will shoot the whole game, then pass on the last play just so people will say he gave it up. Don't try and make LeBron sound better than Kobe, you can't do it, Kobe never got swept out of the finals, Kobe stepped up in the finals, Shaq would only have 1 ring without Kobe.

Shaq didn't trust his teammates when he won his 4th ring, he sat on the bench with fouls while Wade did all the work. And look what happened when LeBron trusted his teammates in the Finals they lost, and looked what happened in the Conf. Finals, he shot more and they won. If you are a good player sometime you need to do more yourself if you have a bad team, which Kobe does.

ok first of all the fact is that shaq went elsewhere and got a ring avg 20 and 10 all while sitting on the bench. second of all lebron took over 22 shots a game in the finals and lost, which is only to b expected with a defensive team like the Spurs who had been running extremely hot, meanwhile Detroit had already run out of steam before reaching the conf finals and were an easy beat.

Theres Odom 16ppg, 10rbs, 5 ass. hes got walton, who averages 11 5 and jus less than 5 and smush with 11 ppg, plus a future all star in bynum...if a player is truly great he can make the players around him better, kobes problem is he shoots of his mouth and is too self absorbed to care about the development of those around him
