great video but seems way to much work to install a webcam in my toshiba . I just bought a laptop web cam. I already opened 3 laptops and theres way to much screws to take out and remember were they go .

nice hack :) just don't like to work on laptops as they require tons of disassembling, the only big fix i did on a laptop is replacing screen for my friend's Thinkpad T60 man that was such a hassle i hated doing it

I don't like Windows 7. I wish Microsoft had stayed with Windows XP. There was nothing wrong with it, in my opinion. I hate laptops.  It does strange things that I don't ask it to do. I like my desktop alot better - I have better control over what it does.

Well Windows 7 kills vista and runs everything XP runs for me.  I love XP also they are the 2 best OS's MS has put out.

Yea, I like Windows XP the best too. I don't see much difference between Windows 7 and Vista. They're almost identical. My weekend was long, very depressing and boring. No work, nowhere to go, nothing to do, and spent the entire weekend by myself.

Nice video and a great hack.

I've been wanting to do the same thing with a Compaq Presario F750US. They came out with a newer model 1 month after I bought mine that had a webcam and I'm sure I can find the parts online.

Good choice with the AMD. They typically run at lower wattage than Intel CPUs and lower temperatures while providing similar performance. The only thing that would make AMD CPUs better would be larger L2 & L3 cache.

Your right with the cache. I still have no complaints the performance is better then I expected. I run Windows 7 64 bit with 4 gig of ram and its very solid.

Im not sure if you were aware but the F700's have heat related issues that causes the mother board to warp. There is a class action lawsuit going on.. Same with the HP DV 2k, 4k, 6k, 8k models too.
