  • the best radio station in gta 3

  • GTA 3 was the best game really. The gang system was better than in the following games. They could of course have brought in maybe more ideas from GTA 2, the respect system was nice imo. GTA 3 was a great base from which better and better games could be made. I however think that Vice City, San Andreas and GTA 4 were not better.

I would like to see an improved GTA 3, with new features, new graphics, new mechanics, new music, new storyline, Liberty City please. Gang system. Authenticity. Feel.

  • @KimarTheGreat ummm, meet GTA IV... LOL?

  • @KimarTheGreat and there was no gang system in GTA III. Just triggers throughout the story that turned certain peds against you... That wasn't a gang system, it was just peds being turned aggressive based on the story. IV is what you are looking for, true GTA fans saw everything they wished GTA III was, in IV.

  • @chngdman mm maybe.

  • @KimarTheGreat The respect system was amazing! I was disappointed heavily along with my friends that it was not brought back

  • @mpavr And remember respect is everything!

  • I would pay money to Rockstar if we could get all these original stations for GTA V.

  • @samsonguy10k I would love some of these songs to come back aswell.

  • I just found this song on iTunes!

  • @incrediblehobo is clean?

  • eu adoro essa musica!!!S2

  • good memories. I wished the new york radio stations had music like this instead of the other pop shit music

  • I've got this as a ringtone on my phone

  • Oh the memories! A childhood killing prostitutes, stealing cars and so on

  • Anyone have a link to the lyrics and/or chords for this song? I would like to try to put together an arrangement for this song.

  • I love this song.

  • omg, I can't believe I've found this again.

  • similar to "my tiny world" sung by testing from gta 2 :)

  • 4 GUYS IS ASSHOLE

  • awesome song, it woulda rocked the charts if it had been released.

  • @sheislove1 Rockstar makes their own songs?:D

  • @killshot13000 that true most of the songs in gta 3 are made up except in some game radio and flashback fm

  • @nfsprostre K-Jah is real also. Scientist actually SUED Rockstar because he claimed that they used his album for K-Jah without his permission.

  • @killshot13000 well, as far as I know, they did until GTA Vice City. They used real songs in Vice City, San Andreas and the ones after that. But there is no official band named 'April's in Paris' nor a singer named 'Lucy' singing 'Forever'. But these songs sound quite good, quite professional, dont they?

  • @sheislove1 yes they do. i think that gta 3 was one of the best of all of the gta games

  • @Warisarcy I think it's the best of all the gta games. maybe it seems so to me because it reminds me of my childhood :(

  • marydancin washim off was suppose to come on before this song started i want to hear it but rockstr removed it from the final version of the game

  • underrated song is amazing

  • GTA 3 <33333

  • i totally agree with sinclairdelux

this song in top 10 of all gtas soundtracks

  • Lucy's "Forever" always came right after this track! I miss those days!

  • Something about these original tunes, makes your little world feel more real.

Cut out the things we know...and create new.

When we play a new game we feel new...so should the soundtrack be =)))

  • @hoghash78 That's why it's sad to see that in the newer versions of GTA there's no more original soundtrack :(

  • @zaanaz Yah, it felt a little more special then....Maybe like it was for us =))

For us to have fun with, not everyone...special=)

  • man i swear southern cali top down driving to this shit or even the country state of alabama on a back road up in huntsville just cruising not caring whos looking at this black man listening to this kinda music but it feels like i just cant take no more

  • good song . I bougth this game about 6 months ago and not bad

  • Epic!

  • lovely maan!!

  • First time i heard this song i thought this is Bono's voice

  • Classis game instantly. Music is nostalgic!

  • i want this on my wedding ow no wait will it sound right? :3

  • @nenevader25 Now 4

  • @nenevader25 Now 4

  • GTA 3 WAS AND IS STILL, AWESOME!!!

  • 3 guys never played Gta III

  • driving on the city while on a mission and playing this song :)

  • GTA 3 was to video games as the Beatles were to music

  • the 1 low life who disliked this deserves to be put in a trunk of a car on gta 3 and be but into the crusher! thumbs up if you agree

  • @montanatexasfloridaz I'd rather pick them up, take them to a secluded alleyway and then sit in the front seat with them while the car's rocking, then chase after them, beat them to death with a baseball bat and get my money back.

  • Anyone else think this group sounded like A*Teens back in the day?? I know me and my bro sure did!

  • I love this game so much me and my friend play this game often..sigh

  • Damn,time flies so fast.Good times...

  • lips 106 and k-jah my favourite radio station's

  • april's in paris or alice in chains? hahah

  • @shesaidpurr dude i know right?

  • @shesaidpurr Haha normally I'd say Alice in Chains but with this song I've gotta give it some deeper thought.

  • i notcied that the female singer is the same like in lucy - forever

  • Lol I am 19 too guys, I remember playing game too.

  • I cant belive this song was just made for this game! wtf! no wonder why I never heard this song in the radio....this could have been a HIT! I am serious.

  • @Mercuryo7 i liked double celft and lips but only this song

  • My favorite station in GTA III. Can't believe it's been so long since the game came out. Time does fly, my friends!

  • This brings back good memories. Thanks for uploading it .

  • Maybe if this would be GTA only , and would not be San Andreas , Vice City , then who do not like it the gta 3-t they would be with an other opinion the játékrol ... this was the first one 3D-s part the others not so much good.

We may be proud of one like this having been prepared Rockstar Games.this like that than a change , this game was a new era in my world .

  • They should remaster this on cd or whatever medium, i think all of the GTA players like this score the best and would def buy this. Original & creative :)

  • Gr8 song. Luv this station and GTA 3. (Y)

  • Fuck you lips 106 just because your ratings are better :P

  • ilove this sonq so fuckin much

  • Lips 106 had some good music! It may not have been real but is sounded great!

I wish they had put the music out on a CD.

  • Me Too Man!

  • GTA 3 and Vice city have the best music

  • this is the best song in gta 3 oh i miss it!!!

  • This song in some parts remind me of Maroon 5.

  • @Agent1W reminds me of GooGoo Dolls at parts

  • @jbrun009 Which I think Rockstar had the intention of putting in reminders of actual musicians in the game's unique soundtrack.

Like I seemed to find resemblances of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, and that was a time when they were popular.

  • @Agent1W Yea, like Boys 2 Girls, haha.

I wonder if they tried to get real bands and they refused, because it wasn't so well known at the time, or they didn't want to be associated with a game about killing hookers (and so much more), because they haven't done original songs since then. GTA is a place to get your music discovered now

  • @jbrun009 There was good music to be had around 1997-2001. The best things about GTA is actually having a dynamic radio station mechanic!

  • @jbrun009 Didn't they do original songs on LCS?

  • @BigMrFirebird I never played that one, thought about buying it, is it worth it? I wonder if I should get a PSP or just get it on PS2.

I also wonder if they'll release a SA Stories on PS3??? hmm...

  • @jbrun009 The last time I played all the GTA games, prior to GTA IV I enjoyed LCS the most. For what it'll cost by today's standards it's well worth the money. SA stories on PS3 sounds interesting, if only they'll fix the terrible handling of the vehicles on the GTA IV format.

  • @BigMrFirebird I may have to pick that up next time I see it. My main gripe with GTA4 is the handbraking doesn't work anymore. I hate how they took the realistic route with GTA, but GTA4 is still really good, I like the improved AI and ragdoll best.

  • @jbrun009 A lot of folks agreed with you, which is why (IMO) they went one step too many with Lost & Damned (slated as depressing by some mag critics) and then went the opposite way with Gay Tony. I've not played either 'cos I was so disgusted with GTA IV. I'm holding my breath for Rock*'s next release in this series, rumoured to be Vice City 2.

  • @BigMrFirebird I've had plenty of fun with 4, haven't really played any missions yet, but it was a big shift from the PS2 titles.

As for sequels, I was wondering if they're just gonna keep upgrading the old cities or go somewhere new. VC could use some more area. I really don't mind upgraded cities, but it could get old to keep recycling the same cities

  • @jbrun009 My main issue with 4 was what looked like a lack of playtesting. The vehicles are like hovercraft in the handling, especially the braking. As for sequels, I agree. They've spoken of Carser City on the radio more than once. Why can't we see it? How about a game when you can go to the airport, get on a plane and go to a completely different place - not over to the next city just over the hill, like in SA. Like a large island or different country with a different climate?

  • @BigMrFirebird Theres too much backstory in 4. In 3, you walk in, they say "Go pick up Misty", then you do the mission. Thats why 3 is a masterpiece. Unless they're gonna make a prequel where you play as Niko in Kazakastan, I think its uneccesary.

The airports were kinda pointless in SA, if they made the islands further apart, I would hope you'd be able to fly a cargo plane with vehicles in the back

  • @jbrun009 I agree with the backstory. It was almost pointless and easily ignored. Maybe some quick flashbacks in cutscenes if they really wanted to fire up our imagination? You've an excellent point about flying the cargo planes to different islands.

  • @jbrun009

I doubt they there gonna remake the old games city's because that would mean that there would be Military in the GTA IV era(as in Fort Baxter in VC and Area 69 in SA), and aparently, the military doesnt slide any more because the military wouldnt deploy tanks on to civilian streets just to kill one guy. However, what you CAN hope for is that they might remake the two citys from the Manhunt series. Carcer City and Cottonmouth City, that would actually be kinda cool in my opinion.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX Well if they were gonna keep the realistic approach as seen in 4, they can make it so they military only comes after you if you sneak on the base (and hopefully only if you act suspicious)

In fact I found the military to be annoying in 3-SA, can't drive anywhere with those damn tanks. Mainly I want them to bring back planes and give us the Hydra and a few other jets, bombers, cargo, etc

  • @jbrun009

Yes, the military was a bit dimwited in those games, and last time i checked in real life cars dont blow up in to flames when you hit them with a tank, lol. However i do like the concept of the military in gta III, because once you got six stars in III, you were fucked, those soldiers were armed to the teeth and would NEVER miss. But I do prefer the sophisticated AI in gta iv because instead of running right up in your face like they did in III they actually take cover which is nice.

  • @jbrun009

Hmmm, thats actually a good point, if Rockstar could program the military to only come at certain spots in the game that would be pretty sweet. so maybe that will remake the old city's, they turned the old Liberty City in to New York, why not turn VC in to Miami! and maybe they could make the two Manhunt city's as dlc's or something like they did EFLC. The only thing that I can see Rockstar bringing back are the planes, they couldnt put Planes or jets in GTA IV because of 9/11.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX I prefer the uniqueness of the original LC and VC.

  • @BigMrFirebird

    What do you mean exactely?

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX Both cities were uniquely created to resemble New York and Miami respectively, without just being unashamed copies. Which is why they could be given unique names and character. Now it's like Rock* can't be bothered creating originality and have sent the Google Earth street car to record the real New York to save effort.

  • @BigMrFirebird

I disagree, if you did research you will be shocked to find out that GTA III was meant to take place in New York City not Liberty City, but thanks to 9/11 that happened about a month before this games release, they had to change not only the name of the city, but the colour of the police cars the terrorist like missions from Darkel, the jet planes, the statue of liberty, etc etc... But now your saying R* have gotten lazy? r u kidding me?

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX I personally knew a developer in DMA and later worked for Rock* who said that Liberty City was only meant to resemble New York and not actually be it due to legal reasons. He never mentioned 9/11 having any effect on the game. He bailed a few games later saying to me that Rock* had got both lazy and boring.

  • @BigMrFirebird

mhmm, sure, I find that hard to believe, sorry but unless I have some type of actual proof im not believing you, NO offence thoug but I simply cant, and because its documented fact that R* were going to enclude missions such as flying a plane in to the Love Media building and blowing up a school bus full of children, they took the missions out imediatly after the 9/11 attacks, which is one of the reasons why they clipped the wings of the dodo plane to disable its flight feature.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX I'm happy in the knowledge that I knew the guy and recalled what he said. I could give you his initials for you to check out the credits on the game but he may not appreciate it. But I thought Rock* didn't feature kids in the GTA series? Plus the Dodo can still be flown.

  • @BigMrFirebird

Well not like 8 year olds, teenagers, but kids none the less. They were going to be exclusive to a single bus that would be shown picking up and leaving the school with the kids, you had to place a bomb under the school bus before the bell rang. Its all documented fact proven by R* themselves, and if you check out some of the Beta behind GTA III you will notice that the High School actually looked like a highschool and the buses were painted yellow instead of grey.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX I hadn't even noticed a school in LC at all?

  • @BigMrFirebird

As for the dodo however, VC was released a year after III and that whole gritty dark look from GTA III was replaced by the more bright and vibrant cartoonish look of VC and SA. So it wouldnt make any sense to fly the dodo in to a building in either of the games because it wouldnt have offended anybody. Both SA and IV were in development for the same amount of time, 2 years for both of them, and its not all about "play testing" seriously dude stop using that as your only defence.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX But play testing irons out problems so how can I not use it when I'm claiming that GTA IV had problems which could've been avoided?

  • @BigMrFirebird

Because you keep complaining about the handling of the cars even though R* meant for the hadling to be that way and because I can drive like a pro in that game. Not to change the subject but one MAJOR advantage that IV gets over its predecesors is its Multiplayer, its simply awesome, 13 ifferent game modes and being able to get in to all out WARS with other people and there clan online is just fantastic.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX I'm glad you can handle the vehicles like a pro but for the rest of us mere mortals you'll find a number of folks on GTA IV related threads also noticing the difference in the vehicle characteristics, and you say Rock* meant for them to handle so differently? So you're either Sam Hauser or have some proof of this?

  • @BigMrFirebird

Dude, The vehicle controls take time to get used to which is something that you are clearly NOT getting, either you just got the game today, or you just suck at it. Obviously the vehicles are going to control comepletely different, it was on next gen consoles and it was the begining of a new gta era. The gta iii era is over, it was done 2 years ago and the old arcade like style of physics are gone now, just except the fact that its done with and move on, seriously.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX So I'm just to accept that the new style of road handling on their vehicles is crapper than ever before and accept the reason is because it's new crap? Seriously, how long does it take you to brake to a stop when really moving at speed in the game? I come to a dead stop in the vacinity of Wisconsin and that's an improvement in the game physics, right?

  • @BigMrFirebird

Seriously dude, just drop it about the Vehicle physics, the physics are the way they are and complaining about them through youtube comments isnt going to change it! Just go write Rockstar a letter telling them your complaints and maybe they might hear you. So far thats the ONLY thing you have against this game is physics, physics, physics physics, physics, physics!!! stop bitching about that ONE thing and just be glad that the cars dont handle as bad as they do in Saints Row.

  • @BigMrFirebird

The physics arent bad, your just bad at using them and you've clearly resorted to lies to try to prove a point, and if the physics were bad, then why havnt ANY of the reviewers out there(and im not just talking about IGN and Gamespot but the gamers themselves) complained about them?

  • @BigMrFirebird

So tell me, how would the Arcade like style of vehicle handling fit in with the theme of GTA IV? The general theme of GTA IV is realism, the cars control like cars! ask anybody whos actually played this damn game! better yet, ask ANYBODY whos actually good at this game, and the cars take some time to get used to and you clearly havnt invested enough time(about 15 minutes) to get the hang of them, but thats your problem and maybe your just not cut out for GTA in the first place.

  • @BigMrFirebird

Yes R* meant for the vehicles to handle that way, you know absolutely NOTHING about how a game is made! jeez dude, if they didnt want the vehicles to handle in such a way then they wouldnt have designed it that way! got it! wow, and your asking ME for proof??? how bout you give me some proof that you actually knew someone personally from Rockstar eh?

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX Plus, are you seriously belieiving that a plane ramming into a tower in either VC or SA wouldn't still cause offence to someone?

  • @BigMrFirebird

Yes I am because, like I said, the look and feel of VC and SA is totally different from that of III. Now it may offend "some" people and I use that very loosely but really, its just a game so no reason for people to have a fit over it.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX But if it's just a game why couldn't Rock* defend a decision to enable planes to fly into towers in GTA III? After all, it's just a game? It's not as if there's a danger of any of the towers setting on fire and crashing down in the first place, is there? I doubt that anyone would bother to differentiate between a tower in a grey urban setting and a sunnier setting. It's tower that just got rammed by a plane. That would be all the tabloids would require and Rock* knows it.

  • @BigMrFirebird

The game is there Job and there are certain limits as to how far you can push something before it breaks, and I dont know about you, but if I was R* I wouldnt want to waste my time trying to defend some plane either being able to fly or not in a god damned video game, its was best to just say fuck it and clip the wings just so that the game wouldnt get banned.

  • @BigMrFirebird

However R* still wanted air travel in GTA III so they made it so you had to know a secret way of getting it in the air so that testers wouldnt be able to fly it, this was before Youtube so there were no video tutorials on how to do it. R* got lazy? Im sorry but thats just rediculous how could they have posibly gotten lazy when San Andreas cam out, there biggest and most popular release to date?

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX There was plenty of guides how to fly the Dodo in mags. Given the difference between SA and GTA IV, I'm not surprised that SA outsold it. The quality of SA appears to point to more playtesting before release.

  • @BigMrFirebird

Rockstar spent alot of time and effort to give the fans of GTA another fantastic game, and they did just that, LC in IV is the most accurate, most photo realistic recreation of NY that ive ever seen, and you know what? Me and many other people really enjoyed visiting the statue of Liberty, and jumping off the Empire State Building, and so much more things to F-around with, its just another great GTA game is all.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX Sod the graphics. I want cars that can handle like cars, not hovercraft. You have to set a date to apply the brakes, they take so long. Makes Carl Johnson's driving iin SA look like instant expert. I wasn't aware that you could jump off the Empire State Building in GTA IV? The driving stinks of a lack of playtesting and might be proved by the financial trouble Rock* was in at the time, the huge loan they had to have and the pressure to release the game asap.

  • @BigMrFirebird

Did you mean Solid graphics? The cars do handle like cars, I mean there definetly no Gran Turismo but they do get the job done, However one feature that you have to like about the new physics is that its nearly imposible to flip your car over, come on you have give them credit for that, and the fact that cars no longer blow up when they do flip over which means you wont die in flames and restart at the hospital, and you also retain your weapons when you die which was pretty nice.

  • @XxMasterBlood778xX No, I meant sod the graphics. Games are sold on graphics at the expense of content, these days. Look at how long Rock* spent on recreating New York? Just compare the handling of cars in their different games and come back to me about the road handliing in GTA IV?

  • yay yeah !

this song always makes me wanna get up in the morning ^^

  • Oh god, the nostalgia

  • I'm mad these aren't on a cd. I hate when good songs like these don't exist in the real world.

  • @raynarayskye Yeah...but it's kinda in the style of U2

  • that's right, also the voice is similar to Bono

  • @raynarayskye believe me i know the feeling, it was a lot of songs on this game i wish were real tracks, but they were just made for the game only.

  • @raynarayskye that's why i'm converting all of these to mp3 haha

  • @raynarayskye No !!! but they exist in the real world just check it on the web you can find the song !!

  • @raynarayskye

Download Helper + CD-R = creation of "real world" material.

Besides, its 2010, who cares about CDs?

  • @raynarayskye Use Video2mp3 to convert these songs into mp3, then put it into your ipod. I have an entire album dedicated to every single song from Grand Theft Auto 3... I'm always playing it when I'm walking around the city... although... sometimes it gives me the feeling that I'm going to be run over by a careless driver....
