Interesting how one, people use the term Lucifer (not ever found in the scriptures) and two people say he rebelled against God and fell. Nowhere in the scriptures do we actually find that. I am okay with the thought that he was a fallen angel....it does make sense in many aspects, but his name is not "Lucifer", it's satan.

To say Lucifer was envious is not enough. When there is a crime, there is a motif. What happened that cause Lucifer to corrupt the precious daughter of God. Jesus said that the "heart is the source of all inquities". That is a good clue to understand the process of the fall. True Love is what is most precious to God.

This video seems to be defending Lucifer, saying he had just cause for what he's done. If he was only trying to get God to love him more, he would've taken a different path. He wanted control for himself, he wanted to defeat God.

He test fallen men because we are unreliable and God needs to test us in order to know our faitful we are but Adam & Eve were not born fallen. God did not test them. He gave them a commandement to protect them because they were still in the process to grow into maturity. God could not have been testing them. @SatanExposed Like the host mentions that the overall plan from God to redeem the universe from all evil has been to allow evil to live its time, to then alloy all intelligent lifeforms become self-aware on their own judgement of the wrong of falling into evil/sin. Nature is not made by a mind and therefore lives by nature and it's laws. I can't speak for anyone else, but many times when I sinned I did so because I was angry and jealous of what another had. I work hard to get no where and it seemed as others worked little and got much. I hated God for my station but in truth I hated myself. I felt I could never measure up to another. Hi treeyard1 Actually, the Bible itself does not say that: In Isaiah 14:12-15 it says " I will raise my throne above the stars of God" Stars means the children of God. Satan did not accept the order of the creation and wanted to be above humans. He knew very well that he is not the creator. He knows that he did not create the universe and did not create man. There is no problem with the logic unless you want to play with words and find one. Let me add that every created being go thru growth stages until it reach maturity. I think you're right. There is a certain amount of limitation. Hezekiah's foretold death, Jonah's ministry to the Ninevites, Moses' deal (haha) with God. In each of these cases God either negotiates with man or changes his mind (relents / repents in Hebrew).

Hmm...I guess this is why most people don't act like perfect little angels, but still act human while still living a godly life. I guess I could understand that, but I need time to get use to that. If what satan did was against god, he comitted the first sin and so original sin is already not mankinds fault. Also, if there's original sin, what would be the sin of preventing a child from living a sinless life by killing it? @SatanExposed Like the host mentions that the overall plan from God to redeem the universe from all evil has been to allow evil to live its time, to then alloy all intelligent lifeforms become self-aware on their own judgement of the wrong of falling into evil/sin. So, that we ourselves choose the good path at the end, and for eternity. That makes a lot of sense. I can't speak for anyone else, but many times when I sinned I did so because I was angry and jealous of what another had. I work hard to get no where and it seemed as others worked little and got much. I hated God for my station but in truth I hated myself. I felt I could never measure up to another. This belief has lead to me realize how foolish I was. My intelligence helped me to see how awful i was. If Lucifer is so smart how can he not see this as well? Intelligence overcomes pride.

The plan was satan would bring destruction, but through Christ's sacrifice, all mankind could be forgiven and brought to a higher place of becoming heirs with Christ! If satan had not challenged God, we would have always been a little lower than the angels. God beat satan at his own game.

I think satan was angry because he did not want to be servant to a creation that was created lower than himself. If you look at his 5 'I will' statements, he was self-inflated with his own sense of superiority because he was the most beautiful of God's creations.

True Satan was envious but his envy was directed towards God because he want to be God and receive greater glory then God. The reason why eve felled for the serpent lies because adam and Eve did not have knowledge of good and evil and thus could not discern between right from wrong. The bible also describe lucifer as been a cherub not a arch angel. God also does not discriminate so God loves all angels and people equally.

All the angels brought there praises to Lucifer and he then brought them to God. But he desired to keep the praises for himself, and then he wanted to be like God. God then gave him over to what he wanted to be like, and the battle continues to this day. Lucifer has fallen from his high office and now commands legions of fallen angels called demons of different rank in his army. We has Christians are to do battle with this army but we pretend it doesn't exists and play Church every Sunday.

that a bunch crap GOD is all love he is no respecter of times levels nor persons nor spiritual being God does not love one more over the other. Lucifer became full of pride because of his beauty and glorious shining light because he was the morning star. He wanted to be like God. Hi openvoice2 Do you think that Lucifer had already fallen before A&E were born and that A&E did not know that? Do you think that they could talk with God and not know that the archangel Lucifer had rebelled against God? It is because A&E trusted Lucifer who wha is a position of helper (the Bible says Covering Cherub) that he was able to mislead them once his heart toward God and Adam changed. Genesis 3:14 says that God cursed him after the fall.

That's why Lucifer told Eva to eat the fruit because they will have knowledge of Good and Evil, and they may be like God. What happened as a result. People keep forgeting angels did not have free will.. that was a gift to man and man alone.. SO even if angels did have free will..... the fact is god supposed to know all, and so god new that a few angels would betray him. Before he even created his slaves,,, yes slaves.. god loves having slaves,,, and he give man the right to own eachother like slaves as well. I just do not see Gods logic.. Hi neo725 Yes Lucifer was created before Adam. As Adam was growing and becoming the son of God, Lucifer had to accept that change. Now he was to receive God's love through Adam. This was the order of the creation. If Adam had kept God's commandment, Lucifer would have taken his position but instead Adam & Eve willingly put Lucifer in God's position of power by listening to his false words. That is why we are divided and struggling. Satan & God, both have a claim on us.

His sin was pride though. My interpretation would be that he was so proud that he was created from flame and man from dirt that he didn't want man to rise to his level. At the same time, he believed that he has reached a plateau of goodness so instead of rising higher, he causes others to fall lower. God is all-loving, and is unbiased and there should be no way he'd love a being more than another, even though one is made to serve another.

@SatanExposed No, I haven't. I do have a brother, and yes, that would be the case if God was human. Nevertheless, God is divine and as such, he's created all things. In a way all things are his children. By your argument, God wouldn't have wanted his actual son, Christ, to sacrifice anything for the rest of the wicked world. To do otherwise would make him human-like like an Greek God.

Hi fallinginreverse10 Yes Lucifer felt that God is loving him less because as Adam was growing in maturity as the son of God, Lucifer had to accept that his channel for God's love was now through Adam. If Adam had kept God's commandment, Lucifer will have slowly accepted that new reality but Adam & Eve willingly believe his false words and put Lucifer in the place of God. We know have two Sovereignties, God and Lucifer. That is why we struggle so much and there is no peace in this world.

Hi TheThunderGirl1 The fact the Lucifer and other angels fell means that they were not perfected yet. If Adam & Eve had become mature and perfected themselves (be fruitful) then created a God's centered family (multiply) and then have dominion over the creation as God told them in Gen 1:28, they would have perfected the angels. It is man who commited sin and put Lucifer instead of God willingly. It is up to man to reverse this disorder and gain back his proper place.

That still doesnt make a lot of sense. . . . . The ultimate question. How can something created by G-d, with out free will, rebel ? NOWHERE in the word does it say he is different. However, if he cannot operate outside the scope of what G-d wants him to do. Then, isn't the only credible source of sin, pain, worry, doubt, jealousy, pride, and any other sin you can think of truly come from G-d himself. It bothers me why ppl dont take responsibility for their actions, and blame iton something else.

Hi jongabrielhall Angels are spiritual beings who were created to be under humans. It is Adam & Eve who willingly put Lucifer in his position of power when they chose to believe his "false words" instead of having faith in the "commandment" God had given them. The fact that Lucifer who was intelligent, had feeling and knew what God told A&E, mislead them shows without question that he had some sort of free will. What you are saying is not logical.

@SatanExposed Lucifer (Satan) or Iblees (Shaitan) was not an Angel. Because Angels don't have free-will. Therefore, Angels cannot rebel against God's commands. Angels have to obey God's commands without choice.
Although Lucifer (Satan) was amongst and one of the Archangels, He was the only one in Heaven who had free-will. Why? Because Lucifer wasn't an Angel. He was another creation apart from Angels. Angels were created from Light while, Lucifer and the Devils from Fire.

@SatanExposed Allah (God) created a beings from Fire. We call these beings "Jinn". These beings had free-will unlike the Angels. Most of the "Jinn" chose to rebel against God and were expelled from Heaven. There rebellious "Jinn" inhabited the Earth and became "Devils" (Shayateen). But Lucifer and a little of his followers chose to obey God and lived in Heaven with the Angels. God chose Lucifer to be one of the Highest and Honored.
