...it's was wriiten as "Rape of Nanjing" in all hitory textbooks aound the world (exept in japan) far before the "Rape of Tibet". In France, where I live I was told so in school (by french teachers).
The book which was published in japan with the so called "proofs" that the photos were faked doesn't apply to all photos at all and is considered as completely unreliable.

My grand mother who died recently was a carring and nice person. Her friend who now lives in Los Angeles is a survivor of Nanjing. She experienced the terror far before the photos were published and told us in details. I believe even u can understand when one people is lying or not. I'm sure the chinese government is lying about the number of victims, but the "Rape" occured. You'll be fixed if u ask these people directly. Anyway it is indeed true than genocide occured in Tibet by the hands of the Chinese army. But still life has been better in Tibet than 50 years before for NORMAL citizens thanks to the economic help of China.
Personaly, I think the protests are mostly comming from monks (ancient rulers of Tibet) and their supporters. A lot of people like to live normaly without carring much about politics. They have home, food, games and don't ask for anything more.

AP（通信社）のサイトでは「Japanese family, monk detained on Malaysia Olympic torch leg」というニュースで日本人が「拘束された（detained）」と報道しています。一方、日本のメディアは全て「保護」と言っています。AFP BB news（日本語）を検索すると、googleのキャッシュでは「拘束」と表現していたページが、現時点では「保護」に変わっています。当局の指導でもあったのでしょうか。日本における報道もちょっと不気味です。

民主化は、直ぐ出来ると思うが
大国の方は、残念ながら無理だろうな。
元共産主義国家だった地域で超大国になった国は無いと言う事が理由。それに中国はもっと他国を認めるようにならないと駄目だと思う、韓国のような常に心地よいヨイショばかりしてる属国を認めるんじゃなくね。

私も中国には早く民主化して欲しいと願っています。
すべての中国人が死んで欲しいとは思っていません。
良い中国人もいるということを、私はよく知っています。
幼い頃から、そういう中国人たちが周囲にいたからです。
このように思っている日本人もいます。
私のそのほかのコメントが、強い言葉に聞こえているかもしれないけれど、どのコメントも根底にあるのは、基本的な自由と人権を暴力で侵す行為は許せない、という憤りだけです。
この事件の当事者が中国人と日本人ではなかったとしても、同じように憤るでしょう。
人として在り方への憤りです。
「犯人」ではなく、一括りに「中国人」と書いてしまったことで悲しませたなら謝ります。
どうか、あまり深く悲しまないでください。
