If you we're smart, you'd know that marih reflects on the current music and makes it her way and she always sounds different on each album era, she ha changed her techniques, her tone, acrobatics, style, etc.. all because the nowadays music doesn't require much VOCALS,its prodominantly on beats and such, but as long as they can morph in a bit of vocals into a song, its all good

Live performances are never the same as a studio recording. Everyone knows this. There's a lot that goes into a studio recording that can't be done in a live staged thing. But this aside, she's still one of the best musicians to date. Her voice is incredible and she writes most of her music. That alone is incredible. That someone can sing like she can sing and write material that strikes high on the billboard charts, who else has been to do this? Answer: Nobody

I agree. There was a time period when Mariah sounded not so good live and maybe had to lip sing every performence, but now she's back on track and doing very well.
