The CAR was made by FORD. The package was designed by Shelby which included suspension and engine modifications as well as a few styling changes. The Body kit for this Eleanor was made specifically for the movie and was something neither ford nor Shelby had much if anything to do with. Fun Fact the Original Elanor is actually a yellow 1973 mustang fastback.
