  • IS THAT MY POKEMON IN THERE

  • Sean Penn has AIDS?

  • Clint Eastwood has really grown as a director.

  • Sean Penn is the best actor ever...

  • jimmy.your cryin now...

  • this scene makes me cry every time. That and when he is at the murder scene and screams "Is that my daughter in there?" Sean Penn and Clint Eastwood are the best pair.

  • sean penn is one of the best actors ever he was recognised for that but he was put down after he started being critical of society

  • someone once told me that real acting is when you look in the actor's eyes and don't see the actor anymore, just the character...what's heartbraking about this scene is that eastwood went from this to shit like Hereafter and J Edgar

  • Someone hand me a tissue cause this is so awesomely sad.

  • Never go full retard..

  • This movie was heartbreakingly amazing. What's even worse is Tim Robbins' character is like a hundred times more wounded than Penn's (not to say it's a competition) and he's now just starting to connect with his old friend.

    Very sad film.

  • He was much better in Woody Allen’s “Sweet and Lowdown”- a comedic film. Just watch the ending for that film and tell me he didn’t deserve an Oscar. Still his best performance.

In this film he’s all ham. Scenes like this he simply lets out his inner Brando. Now he can be great, but he’s not Brando.

  • Sean Penn is not as well known as he should be, he should be as well known as De Niro and Brando. He should always be remembered as one of the true greats.

  • The best actor ever on earth, he deserve an Oscar for each and every movie of his.

  • Bill Murray deserved it more.

  • hahaha i cant believe people Over Commenting on youtube...about johnny winning for pirates or changing the story ......more suspense better plot i mean u want Mr.Clint Eastwood to change the plot, story and charecters just so that u could comment and show ur appreciation on youtube after 8 years...seriously i DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THUMBS UP and i AM NOT GONNA READ ANY COMMENT ON ANY VIDEO HENCEFORTH.completly ruins it

  • Kevin Bacon gave the best performance in this movie. These two, you can see them acting.

  • Sean Penn, one of the best actors on earth... This scene make me almost cry every time i see it...

  • Tim Robbins also won best supporting actor for this movie.

  • There is no way they could give the Oscar to Sean Penn in this movie over johnny depp for jack sparrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Johnny depp was far better. The oscars are a load of bull crap

  • @aaaaaaaaaa7940 WTF?!?!?!! Sean over Johnny's portrayal of Jack Sparrow?!?! Oh maaaaan, youuu gotaa beee kiidddeeen' mehhh! Srsly.

  • sean'

s not acting thats him in real life

  • Comment removed

  • How about a more complicated plot..... More suspense..... And how bout more three dimensional characters. At the end I didn't care who lived or died. I don't understand the hype

  • @bobjangle11 I agree. Overdone movie. The author's other work, Gone Baby Gone, was better story and better movie and didnt even get nominated.

  • Co za asy

  • that movie was such a disapointment

  • @bobjangle11 why its a great movie.

  • @3Axy10Est13 It was so boring dude

  • @bobjangle11 you have either bad taste or a very, very short attention span, the endding was great.

  • @bobjangle11 Wanted more car chases, shootouts and explosions, huh?

    I hear there's a new Transformers movie

  • Does he go full retard in this movie?

  • @InfamousCrimes doesn't he always

  • The hollywood idiots loved this messed up abortion.. a cast of filthy rich actors pretending to know about real human emotions and and a tedious plot.. this movie sucked rotten eggs..

  • @muzalot You know it was directed by Clint Eastwood, a Republican, don't you? Or is Eastwood not far enough to the right for you, unlike that deluded hate-monger Jackie Mason...

  • @padraic2001eire

I'm aware Clint Eastwood was the director however he defines himself as a Libertarian and not a Republican, anyway, none of that really matters when discussing the merits of a movie.. people don't value movies based on their political party.. in my humble opinion compared to Unforgiven, Mystic River was a complete and total disappointment..

  • @muzalot Really? And what's your opinion on Dead Man Walking? Or Into The Wild? Surely the political affiliations of the directors of those two films should have no bearing on your opinion of them...

  • I like talking about films so here are some comments on uber liberal Tim Robins and Shawn Penn movies.. I saw Dead Man Walking after it went to video and considered it a waist of my time.. words like irritating and tedious come to mind and like Mystic River it was definitely not my cup of tea.. on the other hand, Robins acting was very good in The Shawshank Redemption and Penn was absolutely awesome in both Carlito's Way and The Falcon and the Snowman..

I haven't seen to Into The Wild yet..

  • @muzalot Fair enough. I just don't know how you can take Jackie Mason seriously though. He's so full of hate. I feel ill just watching his rants.

  • @padraic2001eire

Jackie Mason is a though old bird, I'll give you that.. I don't know but is it possible that your feelings for Mr. Mason are somewhat tainted by his conservative politics.. does a Bill Maher or a Chris Matthews or any liberal pundit also repulse you?

I'll bet you that fat head Glenn Beck is at least as unbearable for me as Jackie Mason is for you and I'm fairly conservative so I have to believe that as human beings we are a little more than the sum total of our political views.

  • @muzalot I am not affiliated with either the Democratic or Republican party, as I do not live in the US. Bill Maher does not "repulse" me, though he is much more fluid politically than some people realise (he voted for Bob Dole, he's pro-death penalty). Cenk Uygur from The Young Turks is someone whose condescending tone I can do without. My criticisms of Mason are not simply that he is a conservative, as I myself am conservative on many issues...

  • @muzalot My criticisms of Mason stem from the fact that he is hateful, and cannot take any criticism of his own views or the Republican party, while saying ghastly things about other people and parties...

  • @muzalot This is a man who said of Barack Obama's skin-colour: "That is the only reason why he's such a hot commodity. If he was short and Jewish... nobody would care, nobody would notice. But everybody feels guilty about the blacks never getting a chance...". That to me is unabashed bigotry, and I do not believe Obama was or is the messianic figure that many others did and do.

  • @muzalot And Mason's views on Israel repulse me also. Frankly, I think the Law of Return is a shady law to begin with, giving people born in America the right to automatic citizenship of a state in the Middle East. And I am no Hamas supporter either, I regard them as scum, and am for a peaceful two-state solution to the Israeli/Palestinian crisis. However, Mason's bigoted rants on the Palestinian people, from an American, come across as hateful and are damaging to the name of Jewish people.

  • @padraic2001eire

    @padraic2001eire

to begin with I agree with you about Cenk Uygur, his condescending tone is definitely not subtle.. as for The Law of Return, I believe it was originally necessary to create a jewish face in Israel.. it's really not that peculiar as millions of americans and millions and millions from numerous other countries give some form of duel citizenship based on a parent or grandparents nationality..

  • @padraic2001eire

while I have every sympathy with Palestinians in the face of injustice dealt them long ago, as long as the Palestinian people are used as pawns by the Arab world to demonize Israeli people I cannot put much faith in a two state solution.. of course it doesn't bode well for them that they overwhelmingly supported Hamas in their elections..

  • @padraic2001eire

I can relate to Jackie Masons frustration (not his contempt) when we see on the news that every time Israel attempts to extend the olive branch to her neighbors they stick it in a can of gasoline, light it on fire, and toss it back in her face.. of course good and evil exists on both sides of that fence and of course I would prefer that Jackie expressed himself with more light and less heat but it's not my place to correct the man.. He is probably far more intelligent than I.

  • @muzalot I'm from the Republic of Ireland. What if my government not only granted citizenship to Americans of Irish descent - whose ancestors emigrated during, say, the potato famine - but used these Americans to invade Northern Ireland, building houses and deciding the border no longer lay where it had, but further in, reducing the size of Northern Ireland? And what if an American, like Jackie Mason, dismissed Protestant unionists born on the island of Ireland as having no right to be there?

  • @padraic2001eire

your hypothetical analogy to what is going on with Israel and Palestine is noted..

in my country we have a very real invasion from south of our border.. liberal politicians can't see the big picture as they try to pass law to make legitimate citizens of illegal aliens.. as with plants and animals, the introduction of a non-indigenous species into an environment destroys that ecosystem.. the corruption of our borders language and culture is no different..

  • @muzalot Yes, but I thought the wonderful thing about America is that it had people whose backgrounds stretched all over the globe? Asian-Americans, African-Americans, Latin-Americans, European-Americans. As long as they consider themselves American when they're born and reared on American soil, what is the problem?

  • @padraic2001eire

I suppose that your being outside our country means i should not expect you to be up to speed on "what is the problem" to the same extent as someone who is homegrown and subjected to the full extent of it.. we simply cannot assimilate the vast numbers of uninvited uneducated third world illegals not equipped to support themselves or the millions of children they conceive here.. even their young children are have children and it's burdensome for taxpayers who pay for it all..

  • @padraic2001eire

they insinuate themselves by popping out anchor babies like there is no tomorrow and force our hospitals to close their doors and file for bankruptcy.. our public schools are overwhelmed and they bring in new and infectious diseases we have never seen before.. our prisons are filled to the brim with gangs of rapists and murderers.. we are experiencing home invasions and kidnappings for ransom and mexican drug cartels are killing our police..

  • @padraic2001eire

there is a the problem with identity theft, unlicensed drivers, uninsured drivers, hit and run drivers, drivers that can't speak or read english and there is even the problem of littering..

I'm just a second generation american but my grandparents on both sides loved this land.. people that do what is right are the real americans..

  • @muzalot Well, I have lived in America before, albeit briefly, and in Southern California, not too far from the border with Mexico. Of the crimes you listed, the only one (if you could call it a crime) that seems exclusive to those originally from outside the US is a failure to grasp the English language. Rape, murder, kidnapping, home-invasion, identity theft and hit and runs: these are not exclusively Mexican affairs, my friend. White Americans carry them out too.

  • @padraic2001eire

I was commenting more about problems, not necessarily just crimes.. not speaking the language of the land is not a crime, it's a problem.. with the exception of the islamic terrorist who purposefully gave himself smallpox in order to spread it nationwide, merely being infected with leprosy, malaria, tuberculosis, or hepatitis doesn't of itself constitute a crime but it is a problem.. burdening emergency rooms to the point where hospitals go bankrupt is a problem.. and so on..

  • @padraic2001eire

ultimately it could be said that all these illegal alien problems are brought to us because of an underlying crime.. certainly you know that entering most any country of the world by sneaking past proper authorities is considered a crime, just look at what mexico does to trespassers for example.. as for littering, all that garbage strewn along our southern border is exclusively the result of people illegally crossing over our border with mexico.

  • @padraic2001eire

it's really nice that you visited briefly but do you really think you have enough life experience in this country to know what you claim to know?

  • @muzalot Well, I have access to much of the same printed and audio/visual media as you via the internet. I am still in touch with people from Southern California, some of whom are of Mexican extraction (though legal US citizens). Also, if geographical proximity is important, it's quicker to fly to Israel from Ireland than it is from the US. Does that make your views on Israel less valid than mine?

  • @muzalot On the subject of overcrowding, when you talk about immigration into the US, are you subtracting US citizens living abroad? For instance, in 2007 in the UK there were 4.1 million foreign nationals, and 5.6 million British passport-holders living abroad, meaning that the UK was effectively 1.5 million people less crowded that it would be without any immigration or emigration! Let's not forgot those US-born Jews who up and move to Israel!

  • @padraic2001eire

I'm sure many variables effect world population stats, desirable and otherwise.. people living abroad is an important factor to consider but of course the UK doesn't reflect USA in many areas..

  • @padraic2001eire

I wouldn't spend time discussing this subject with people if it could simply be resolved by subtracting the number of people living abroad from our overall population.. I gave examples of the dire consequences of having open borders with mexico but it seems your only significant complaint involves jewish migration to Israel.. anyway, i think our banter has pretty much played out being that this string is ultimately only connected to a hollywood actor and his hollywood movie..

  • HAHAHA WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT!

    LOOK AT THE ACTOR OBAMA!

  • Mystic River?

  • Nothing in the desription ?

WHat movie is it ? Whats so great about this scene ? What your thoughts on this scene?

  • I'll put that stuff up later on, when I get the chance.

  • @slLLyhumans it's Mystic River. fantastic movie.

  • @padzter

OK thanks ! Never seen it before .

    I read the plot on Wikipedia . . . . meh .
