The bandwidth was getting killed. Too many users and only a few donations. I had to move it to a new server (see description) and use silverlight to push the videos directly to the browsers. It works much better with way more content.

I found a free alternative which grabs media from just about everything. I can't think of the name and I don't want to open firefox to find out because a thousand porn windows will pop up from my last saved browser session!
