just look on the internet at Romanians got talent but you will find much with "Romanii au talent" and search for Luca or "Sotii Luca" and you will find out that they made in the 1st edtion about40-100 piroutes,in semi-finals 400 pirouetest and in final 600 pirouetes but the can do 1500 pirouetes

Her name is Alicia Clifton and she is one of the best dancers I have ever seen. She was on Regis and Kelly and competes in many pageants and wins majority of the time. It's real. I remember when she came to school the next day and how everyone was talking about it. Most of our POM squad and cheerleaders were there to cheer her on. She is a sweetheart!

It's definately real...I was actually attending college in OKC when this was going on at Applause Studios and one of my professors was there because she was the old owner of the studio. So, it is the real thing. Not looped...this girl can turn in tap shoes or not, she is an amazing dancer... :)

Why do you think the audio was completely silent until the end? also, if you look at tiny deatils, like her ponytail during the turns, it's exactly the same. hair wouldn't do the EXACT same thing during every pirouette ;P Though I'm not saying she can't do many pirouettes, it's not 35.

wow...really good, however there is a difference between actually turning and just spinning. some people are good at spinning like this girl (and that's fine, spinning is okay), while other people can actually turn pulled-up and finish well. not trying to insult this girl, just pointing it out...

Since she is "spotting", I would not refer to these as spins. Her technique fulfills the requirements of a "jazz pirouette" although she is wearing a tap shoe. Of course it has nothing to do with pure ballet pirouettes which is comprised of an entirely different technique which is much more difficult, but they are pirouettes nonetheless.

a tap board is easier for metal ( tap shoes ) to turn on and a jazz floor is like wood or kinda a hard rubber. usually its wood but our dance studio has something harder to turn on. now i can do like 10 turns in jazz shoes! :-)
