I will pray for you too. When I was at the point where I didn't believe, and that was for quite a while, I finally went in and did my homework to see if this was all true. I think all of us need to dig in and investigate to see if what's being said is true or not. I know from my own research that the God of the Bible is true and does exists.

I thought I was addressing a comment by RonnyvanDoorn where he minimizes the gravity of false prophecies. I have never heard of any man of God being caught making false prophecies or declaring against the truth that someone is cured.
If you want to have discernment pray honestly to God that he grants it to you. Christ told us he would send us his Spirit to lead us in all the truth. Do not expect to get esotoric revelation from an elite that will put you in a select class of illuminated.

I have no doubt about the possibity of being filled with the Holy Spirit. It is important to be able to discern between the Spirit of sorcery that is behind hypnosis and the Spirit of God that fosters true love and true healing. All those healed by Jesus or his disciples did not lose their healing and all the prophecies of Jesus have come or will come to pass
The Word of Faith Movement came out of the Pentacostal movement, but is not of the same belief as most pentacostals.

Let me share what Jesus said when he was speaking to his disciples about his return. He told them not to be deceived because there would come many false prophets who would perform signs and miracles, and if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived.
Benny Hinn does not run under the power of God, but under another power. God will not do miracles in a false prophet, as the miracles will keep people believing in the lies that these men teach....
Because we all have free will God allows men to do what ever they desire. If they choose to ignore the words of God, then Satan will creep in, and do what ever it takes to keep people from the truth.
This is why it is so, so important to study God's word, so when people like Benny Hinn shows up, does great signs and wonders, and miracles, we can see that his prophesies and teachings are not from the Lord.

You know, in the Old Testament, false prophets were taken out of town and stoned to death. There would be fewer false prophets today if we were living under this law. There judgement will come soon enough if they don't repent and turn from their ways.

Out of 80 healings in a crusade, Benny Hinn submitted 5 for the media scrutiny. Not a single one could be verified by doctors. We can assume that all 8o were bogus. As for the seance of hypnosis it derives right from the occult which is definately from Satan.
It's good to have Christians like you stand with me on this, as there are so many who defend Benny Hinn and call him a prophet of God...How sad, even though the man has a list of false prophesies, people still hail him as a man and prophet of God.
The Word of Fatih movement has produced more false prophets then I can even count.
I find it amazing that some people think that God will use occult hypnosis, fake signs or miracles and bogus healing in order to lure people to the truth. I was with 4 of those guys who staged a leg growing miracle session, on someone who claimed one of his leg was shorter, to get me join their church. I wonder whose leg they were trying to pull.

There are many false teachings in this movement, and one that needs to be spoken out against. Paul told his churches to kick out the ones who bring in damnable heresies. Paul was not Politically correct when he said such things. But this is how we are to deal with false teachers, to expose them and warn the body of them and their teachings.

We can NOT add to scripture, and this is exactly what is happening. Either you can take timem to study this and see for yourself that we are not divine little gods, or you can go on believing this lie from satan.

This always amazes me when you guys bring up this scripture. If you've done any studying at all, you would know that this is refering to the Judges of the Law. They were called gods, not divine god, but gods of the law. They oversaw that the law of God was obeyed. Just as landlord doesn't mean Lord of us, this scripture does not mean we are gods.
The same goes for John 10, because Jesus again is refering to the judges of the law and their position.

Paul the apostle told the churches to throw out those who teach false doctrines. Paul would address someone like Hinn too if he were here.

If you love God's word, then you will know that God does not admire anyone who prophesies in His name and they don't come to pass.
But even with that, Mr, Hinn teaches that we all are gods, the same nonsense that Oprah teaches.
Saul was not a believer and whenhe did become one, he never gave false prophesies, and he never taught unsound doctrines. So I don't think you can compare Mr. Hinn to Paul.

I have talked to many people who love this man, and they totally ignore his false prophesies. They say he is bringing people to Christ so it doesn't matter.
The big problem with this is, he teaches a false gospel and a false Jesus, so the people who are believing in that gospel are most likely not saved.
The man's teachings is rotten to the core and the more people see this, hopefully their eyes will be opened and see him for what he is...a false prophet.

Because we all have free will God allows men to do what ever they desire. If they choose to ignore the words of God, then Satan will creep in, and do what ever it takes to keep people from the truth.

I find it amazing that some people think that God will use occult hypnosis, fake signs or miracles and bogus healing in order to lure people to the truth. I was with 4 of those guys who staged a leg growing miracle session, on someone who claimed one of his leg was shorter, to get me join their church. I wonder whose leg they were trying to pull.
