I just started riding this trail.. the trail is paved, well-shaded and very relaxing. I ride a mtb though.. I'm still thinking if I should go and switch up to a road bike. :)
@timexix road bikes are a blast if you like to go fast. A few groups will go out and back from the Collins parking lot at 20-25 mph and we do multiple loops of that section.
just got back from riding here with my 2 cousins yesterday, we rode back in the dark and were the last ones out the park at 10. pretty great experiance
If you are going to ride regularly after the time change, you will need a pretty good light since it is pretty dark once you get east of the main park. Nice having such a great park with all those paved paths, isn't it?
