Fuck yeah man! Good shit, keep it up. One question, how'd you sample the game? Like did you plug it in somewhere on the laptop or did you pop it into a interface or something?
hey man love the video! just wanted to ask, is that you are playing at 2.01 a double bass sample or some kind of Double Bass VST of some sort? would really like to know what that is man! :)
wow dope beat man, i have two questions though...i just bought a maschine mikro and 1) how do you get the pads to make the sample sound full level? the harder i hit the pads, the louder it is when i just want one constant sound. and 2) my biggest problem is trying to sample a certain piece of a song. I puut it on the pads and it slices 16 parts of a whole song when i just want it to slice 16 pieces of a certain piece. How do i get it to slice a certain piece instead of the whole song? thanks man
@DJchupacabrah hey there man. i'm not to sure about your first question. i think that maschine's pads are always going to be velocity sensitive. meaning that the harder you hit it the louder it will be. and for the sampling part thats easy just put the song that you want to sample in garageband or Audacity. and chop out the part of the song you want to sample so its just like 15 seconds or something then make sure its a .wav file and then you can drag it in to maschine.
@DJchupacabrah You definitely can make samples trigger constantly at the same velocity level. I don't have a Maschine but just ordered one. Was checking out some tutorials somewhere on YouTube and they showed you how to do it. I think it was somewhere in the sample window you change the sample to from 'ADSR' to 'one shot' or something... (sorry can't help more than that)
@DJchupacabrah Hi, for your first question I think what you want is full level or fixed velocity which you can get by holding down the "pad mode" button then pressing F3.
@DJchupacabrah answer to your first question if you havent figured it out yet, in Maschine with the Mikro connected, click on "Maschine" in the upper left corner and will bring out a box. click on the last tab titled "Hardware" and thats where you can adjust the pad sensitivity along velocity scaling. hope this helps!
@DJchupacabrah Hey man, you can jack up the pad sensitivity in your Maschine preferences or manually change the velocity for either single sounds or patterns in arrangement mode at the bottom. Also, to be noted, there are 2 different sensitivity settings available: a normal slider bar and an option that gives you presets based on your play style. Hope that helps!
