They've come out with newer versions now, so you should be able to get it for fairly cheap

@ralphytimesfour well were up to 9 now. 4 should be cheap, but hard to find. adobe only wants you buying ther newest stuff so they take the old stuff off the market. try ebay.

it always ends up ok but it doesnt stay with the blade when i play it

when i do it and then play it back it ends up bening slower then the video, it would lok fine if the vido was slower. why does this hapen?

You don't have to cut each frame. Just check mark the clock Icon next to motion and keyframes will be turned on. Then you can just move the object frame by frame. Besides that nice tutorial.

I've watch every single other lightsaber tutorial in this software, and none of them are as realistic, or have light radiating from the saber.

This is a tutorial on how to do a lightsaber effect in Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0

This isn't the regular straighten out the lightning lightsaber tutorial. This it much better, and way more realistic. I show you how to put the lightsaber "blade" into the video, and how to put it in frame by frame. I also show you how to make light generate off the saber, so you have light on your actual body. I'm not trying to brag, but this is the best Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 lightsaber tutorial on youtube.
