In UK standard ceilings are way too low to do that, the bar should be very close to the ceiling or at my height I'd bang my head against it or again I'd have to raise my feet like it needs with powerbar or in-between door pull up bar. That wooden bar looks very far from the ceiling and although I can't see the feet (which you should show...), it looks as if you should touch the ground unless you raise them. I mea, how high is the ceiling or tall are you?
Yes, I have to bend my knees and keep my feet behind me to not touch the floor. I would love to be able to get my feet in the picture but there is no room. Will post a new max attempt in 2-3months when I change focus from strength to endurance.
Nice wooden work and nice work out. I still have a bit to go to do it the way you do, but I also weight more and am near my 40yo. But check out also my less committing and easier setting using a common store pull up bar inside the hatch, good in a jammed small flat, provided there is a roof space. I love the fact that when my chin goes up I enjoy a new vista in the loft...
Nope, it is the other way around. Chinups are done with a supinated grip (palms facing you) and pullups are done with a pronated grip (palms facing away from you). Do a google search for "chin ups" and click the wikipedia link. (Just noticed that the link directly under the wiki-link is to my training log at a norwegian forum..:).
I can do like 7 is that good? lol

Great form dude. Are you going to add an attachment if you decide to go wider on the pullups?

Really nice amount of chinups and good form!
How much pullups can you do?
Caysche 3 years ago
Thank you!
I have not tested pullups for a while. Will do that next..:) My guess would be between 17 and 20 as I usually landed on 17 before.
