At any given time, I could only find exactly the 20 I needed in the original game boy release. I never thought to go ramming the trees, though. All this time they were hidden there? Sheesh...Thanks, Nintendo! I mean, I like Link's Awakening and all, but that's just cold-blooded.
When you get the Level 2 sword, the remaining seashells are replaced with 20 rupee chests. In some cases, they're just plain removed for no good reason. I can understand giving a better prize when the use of seashells are abolished, but removing some seashells and not placing prizes in their place is plain laziness.
And yes, this game kinda did forget to tell you something about seashell locations. But it's more along the lines of, "It didn't care."
Holy hell two Link's Awakening guides at once (one from you and one from HCBailly).
Except HCBailly's one keeps the original music and doesn't cut out so much backtracking that would end up getting a person lost.
I do admit that I am enjoying HCBailly's better than this. This was one of the first games I played and I am disappoint at your hatred of it. I still have both the original and Deluxe versions of this game, both working. Not saying this one is bad, though.
@Quadunit404 Oh, and in the original black and white version, you can close those annoying messages BEFORE they finish. Dunno why that didn't make it into the colorized version.
Although, I suppose it's almost the same as SMB3 Japan allowing you to pick an item at a Toad House before Toad finishes talking while in the American version you HAVE to wait for him to finish.
Nevermind your wild assumptions, what does this "Let's Play" have that is better than my videos?
I am not trying to pull out commentary out of my ass while I play vidya games for the internets. I care about the sound of the game. I don't know about you, but I don't want to hear the invincibility theme for minutes on end. I also expect people that watch this to PLAY THE GAME THEMSELVES. Why do I need to include the original music when they're going to hear it anyway?
@Darkmatt717 Well... this game is one of my childhood memories being among the first games I ever played (both the original Game Boy and GBC versions) and so therefore I grew used to the music. Also, I have been a long-time subscriber of HCBailly, and he admits that he loved this game too. Looks like I'm not the only one who enjoyed this back in the day and even now.
Although, you kinda have a point about the music...
I just watched an episode of this, and to that, I say this. You are choosing an LP with a style that I've had THREE YEARS AGO. The only difference being he doesn't have the dignity to refrain from talking.
I should probably stop being passive argument and outright tell you that this HCBailly's LPs suck. Even if they didn't, I cannot have respect towards a guy who talks about and records a Final Fantasy game without any editing whatsoever.
... Thank you for pointing that out. No, really, thank you. I stopped watching him because he's one of those people who can be a little too "enthusiastic".
the sword scene is so cool XD

Who the fuck said I hated it?
Just because I point out the flaws in this game doesn't mean I hate it. Come on.

@Darkmatt717 Guess I took this the wrong way.
I'm no stranger to taking things wrong. Or being blamed for hating a game by pointing out its flaws.

@Darkmatt717 Well, I'll still watch this anyway. Now that you've explained some things to me I'm not as disappointed as before.
