Ow yeah.. about the heatpipe thingy. I did that with a friend. It took me a full day too get it rly working. (heatpipe didnt connect too other heatpipe xD).

Plus this Xni980nu is now the worlds fastest gaming notebook. even exceeds alienware's m17x. which has too 2 videocards gtx280m. but i have an extra SSD for some more bandwidth and performance and i use Nforce chipset.
Gaming without the power adapter on that is going to kill your batts, and FPS. Also, it's actually a rebranded Clevo. Other laptops the same as this are: Sager NP 9850, AVA Direct Version, etc. M17x is the same, but with those SSD of course your going to beat it in boot time. Btw, you can overclock the M17x, don't know if you can do that with the Clevo.
Hey snakebite,, I finally Hardcore tweaked my Gx700, all stuff overclocked... changed the original heatpipes.... couldnt replace the fan though.. but the heatpipe from GPU and CPU is changed with a bigger one... and connected now too eachother... what is necesarry cause its still getting too hot though.. :P now i can use it as a workstation..:p or as server station for the lanparty's i have here..

lol, havent oc'ed mine.. rather not haha cooling would be a issue then. i have the 178.19 because i got vista 64bit. if your able to find the best one for 64bit vista i would greatly appreciate it :)
Hey, finally a Bench! lol But i have the 179.14 drivers for my 8600m AWESOME OC Core +125 and Mem + 100! Staying under 80 C with my zalman cooler. I have found the 179.14 drivers best (64 bit!)
I just got my cooler yesterday, its the zalman nc1000 (if you have like a 17" laptop go for the nc2000) It kept my laptop 10 - 15 Degrees Celsius cooler! I could also go a lot longer without it hurting my hand from the heat lol.
I ordered the 19'inch NXZT cooling pad for mine awhile back. was about a 100 bucks has three 120mm on the bottom, full alluminum casing. 4 usb ports on the back. is ran by a USB some did come with AC powersupply but the new models are usb. its very nice
It seams that you have the best driver for that OS. Except that I would install ntune and get the full power from that card... Mine goes to 590 for GPU and 490 for MEM, since it is a GDDR2 memory... But it works like a bomb :)
yeah i use rivatuner so i gotta restart every time, it does have the option to apply the OC on startup but i just OC when game, then I under-clock to surf web to save my abismall 1.5 hour battery life :-(

i oc to 600 core 500 mem stays under 85 C so it aint to bad. I am getting a coolin pad soon cuz it feels pretty toasty!

wow 85C is pretty hot lol. yea invest in a cooling pad :P. Computers Critical at 212 degrees F, which i believe is 100 degress c.
do you use ntune or the equivelent, if so that means you have to oc it after you restart it and or shutdown everytime?
