  • I have the old single by General Strike: My Body/Parts of My Body on a Canal Records 7" (Canal 01), published in 1979 by Playback Records, 3 Buck Street, London NW, England. The vocals are completely different on it. I don't have a record player, otherwise I would put it up here. I found it today in the basement along with some other old singles.

  • @MowgliX: Yes, that's because they are different tracks: "My Body", "My Other Body", "Parts of My Body". Two of the three are on the single. A different two are on the album. The third of these has no vocals but instead Toop reciting a nice zoo story. :-)

  • @RobinParmarSound Right. Thanks for the input! Now, where do I find a record player (remember those?) so I can upload some tracks...?

  • @MowgliX Can't help you with a player. :-) CD was released on Piano but is out of print. Music can still be found with a careful search.

  • Danger In Paradise is one of the biggest audio surprises to me :) A brilliant album. Toop and Beresford you say... wasn't there also Michael Cunningham of The Flying Lizards fame involved?

  • Yes, he's involved too, though just to a lesser extent, mostly on production I think.
