If I were to be critical (and obviously I usually am :-P ), this is a bit too B&W (which I guess is your point) - IMHO only really sky/fox are this openly polarised. How about trying to match +ive images to -ive commentary and vice-versa? Are words or images more pervasive?
@pHHHz It would be interesting to match +ive images to -ive commentary and vice-versa but not tell people, and see which one they thought was the positive and which the negative report.
And although it seems particularly polarised when you watch both reports consecutivley, without having been to an event or studied the news item its difficult to know when the news are twisting it and in which direction.
of course ... but then that's your 'job' as a media student, analyst and content provider.
