I like you builded quad but, I manor air how you linked all the esc , circuit board and what ever else together . I t will help if you show In a video.
How much capacity (mAh) ?? I think 2200mah is not enough to get acceptable flying time .. should I order 3500 / 4000 / 4500 / 5000 mah even if these are heavier ? Let me have your advise pls.
@burghoorn best is arround 3500 weight/fyingtime ratio it can handle 5000mah on 8 inch props,,,but no rough flying then..so with a 2200 mah it handles real good but no longer then 2/3 min on 5000 mah u can fly upto 12 min if u take it eazy and with a 3500 arround 6/7 min.... also if u fly with 10 inch u might wanna go for the 3500 till 5000 range...all 3S since the amp draw will be higher...but u have more control with 10 inch
@jacquesone100 Thanx man, I ordered a 4000mah 3cell turnigy nanotech and will test this with 8" , 9" and 10" props. Lets see the flying time improvements compared to the 2200mah 3cell. My FY90Q board is in transit so I'll have to test this one as well. (Sjaak's hobbyshop in Leiden ??)
Wow, new quadcopter looks awesome Jacques! I'm sure like you said with it being more stout and heavier it is much more stable in the wind. The landing skids look nice too, what type are they? Can't wait to see it flying with the Go Pro, and then some FPV in the future would be cool. Keep up the good work.

Nice. How much do you think you spent on this design?
jwwm2 11 months ago
@jwwm2 5 bucks except the landing skids they where 15 ...so 20 in total i believe
jacquesone100 11 months ago
@jacquesone100 I think you're saying the frame and the skids. I'm wondering the total cost for the whole thing. Thanks.
jwwm2 11 months ago
@jwwm2 the Gaui Gu344 Gyro is the most expensive part on the whole thing..thats arround 150/200 dollar
then 4 esc's 60 bucks 4 motors 80 bucks 4 props 10 bucks frame 20 bucks some extra things..box,wires etc 10 bucks lipo say 20 bucks....so the whole thing except radio and reciever..arround 400 bucks. :)
jacquesone100 11 months ago
@jacquesone100 Might want to try out the KKMulticopter boards. They're half the price, and pretty simple, and you can program it yourself too.
