  • you should youse dead mice its mean doing this

  • @TheXGamezX Shut the fuck up.

  • @mrbooger33333 why it is cruel i even i have a python so i think i know what am talking about

  • @TheXGamezX I have had 20 ball pythons as well as monitors, tegu's , burms, retics, kings, corns, and various iguanids. I think I know more. Let people feed their pets how they see fit and shut the hell up. This goes for all the judgemental whiney bitches.

  • @mrbooger33333 ok i am not trying to be horrible but why whould u even video this

  • @TheXGamezX Because if the snake was not eating, it would be do nothing. Who wants to record something sitting still?

  • pregnant mouse..

  • how did he misss

  • I remember when mine was this small.

  • how old was she in this video and also wat size of mouse is that ? when my bp gets big anuth im gonna be breeding her too. with selective breeding i can breed bigger ball pythons just need to carefully pick my breeders

  • I think your python needs glasses. The mouse was right in front of him and he missed the first time. My python never misses.

  • snakey snakey snakey snakey

  • lol fail strike

  • i love how cutely u said "there u go!" XD

  • have you ever had it mistake your hand for feed and bite or strike when you feed it in its own house, tub vivarium?

  • some snakes are smart u shouldnt feed them in their tank feed them in a seperate bin my friend always fed his ball in his tank so the ball thinks wen he opens the tank its feeding time and strikes at him>

  • thats not a baby..

  • Comment removed

  • Is that a pin strip?

  • Beautiful colorings!

  • What should I feed my baby ball 2 to 3 months old they told me pinkys

  • at 2-3 months which are about how old my new BP are, you should be feeding "hoppers" NO PINKIES. they are too small.

  • @strangelevityball what are "hoppers"

  • at least large fuzzies if not hoppers

  • whe mine was that old i was feeding him hoppers

  • @787Jroopy216 well they suck feed him hoppers

  • @787Jroopy216 hoppers all the way, unless shes thicker and can handle a bigger meal

  • @787Jroopy216 haha u said u have baby balls

  • how many month did he have?

  • cool snake! check out my baby ball eating

  • i usually just feed them in the cage O_o... cuz i heard if you take them out then later they get used to it and get excited and tend to bite

  • @TokeThePlanet420 Nope,

If you feed them in their cage over time they will think you're giving them food except you aren't you wanted to only hold them so that would lead to them attacking your hand.

  • how long it takes to bring it into the cage after eating

  • damn i love ball pythons they have got to be the best pet snake along side a corn for a biginner to have, although corns are very temprimental, they are hard to understand and can turn on you all of a sudden althought there bites dont hurt, im getting my baby ball python this week some time just waiting for them to get some in stock.

  • hey heres a good tip dont feed ur snake in its cage caus ittle get used to it and mistake ur fingers for food and ittle bite

  • why buy it dead when you can watch it die???

  • some times the ball python doesn't like to eat froze or thawed... frozen is more humane, but the live ones get more nutrition. (vitamin b.)

  • =/ when i get mine im buying frozen prey..

  • dont try and feed it a live, if you do, the python might get used to it, and refuse to eat frozen.

  • thats why you stop feeding it frozen and feed it live

  • yes it will be ok but it shouldnt hurt the snake too bad

  • Are you fucking retarded that mouse was way to big the snake could hurt itself and when the snake is a baby you should feed it frozen mice and then when it gets bigger feed it live mice and bigger you are going to hurt your snake! plz consider getting it smaller mice the mouse should be as thick as the thickest part on the snake.

  • lollll no prob with this mouse lolll...

  • @IL0veSnakes If you pay attention the mouse is about the size of the thickest part of the snake. Mice appear to look bigger than they are because of how they sit like that all bunched up, making themselves look fatter. When it stretched out it was a perfect size.

  • smellychocolate: your funny as hell

  • im getting a ball python soon and i want to feed it live (cuz i hate mice to death) but i dont want it to get bit or anything. so ill just break the mouses jaw with pliers or something

  • Lol. Dude, as long as you watch the snake as its eating, you'll be good.

  • @smellychoclate People like you should be in jail. How would you feel if some cannibal tortured you before they ate you.I'm not saying don't feed a snake but cruelty is wrong.I mean humans that kill dogs/cats/humans to eat are considered cruel and evil by most Americans but kill anything else the average American doesn't give a fuck.

  • that is a little messed up.

  • @smellychoclate mate thats fukin twisted personally i dont think you should have a pet of any kind but if it tries to bite your snake a powerfull flick to the head would do

  • @smellychoclate

nice, never thought about it like that, the opportunity for better safety for you snake while feeding live, great idea.

  • @smellychoclate Dude you just grab that shit by the tail. They can't bite you. If you really hate mince and wanna do something mean to them stun them before you feed them to your snake. Hold them by the tail and just... Thump them on the floor. It keeps them from wiggling around and you can hold it out for your ball to tag. But don't break their jaw. Thats just psychopathic IMO...

  • @smellychoclate

yeah i really hope you're not serious

  • @smellychoclate UR PRETTY FUCKED UP I NDA HEAD LOL

  • @smellychoclate thats just sick...don't do it

  • @smellychoclate dont do that you fucking asshole. its natural if the mouse were to bite the snake anyway. Ur a fucking weirdo.

  • @smellychoclate sick fuck

  • @smellychoclate That is the funniest thing I have ever read!!!

  • @smellychoclate that is really messed up ummmmm maybe you shouldnt do that

  • @smellychoclate That's actually fucked up....

  • @smellychoclate pre kill them if you've got such a beef with mice. Dont risk your snake, just snap their neck or something like that, its cruel to have any animal suffer.

  • how odl was she when u made the video?

  • tell me how u do it????

im getting a Ball soon but i just CANNOT deal wit the idea of feeding it live!!!

    help!

  • you can buy frozen mice, you don't have to feed it live.

p.s. your soo lucky, i really want a snake but my parents said i can't get one(but im still gonna nag them)

  • Yah, just don't feed it live. Places like Petsmart sell frozen mice of various sizes which are obviously prekilled. PK, FT is the safest way to feed your snakes anyways. Unfortunately, some snakes don't take to it very well, and my ball has refused PK food from day one. I keep trying though because I'd really hate to see her hurt.

  • All four of my snakes are on frozen mice. Its the easiest and safest way to feed them. The only problem is the lack of vitamins the mouse holds while alive.

  • @darkenedkaven Hows it the easiest way to feed the snake when you have to dangle it in front of your snake with tongs until the snake finally decides to get the hint and strike at it? It's easier just to drop the mouse into the tank and watch the snake do it's thing instead of having to convince them that the shit your dangling for them is real food.

  • @EvangeliumDiSilenti everytime i open the cages and they see my hand, they don't go haywire thinking food is getting dropped in. and if you know anything about snakes, they go by heat, so if the mouse is heated up they don't see it as "oh is its heart beating?" . There is no "having to convince" or training. Not to mention there are mice that like to bite and fight back that can cause problems with your snake.

  • If they went by heat alone then they would strike at your hand thinking it was food dumbass. They REGOGNIZE food mostly by smell and movement. If it was all by heat then they would think things like heat lamps were food. And secondly, the majority of the time when rodents bite back, it's because the snake grabbed it wrong and the rodent was open to attack. You're supposed to watch them kill the live pray to make sure nothing bad is happening. People make the mistake of just walking away.

  • if your getting a snake, your gonna have to deal with it.

also, you can feed frozen thawed but chances are if the BP was fed live before, it will not convert to frozen.

  • Like I said she is a few years old now & eats full grown defrosted rats.

  • you mean mice?

  • loll no offense but that BP isnt very agressive.. the mouse was right infront of it and it missed.. my ball python hits rats like 6 or 7 inches away and always gets em in the face.. you should also switch to rats because that mouse is 2 small.. unless ur feeding like 2 or 3 of them everytime u feed

  • Personally think it is better to feed 2 or 3 mice of 1 rat. Rats bite a lot harder, and you said yourself. This snake doesn't look "that" aggresive. So why put in a bigger prey?

  • How cute the rat was like what when the snake missed and then was like dont eat me please lol

  • I do snake rescue and sometimes I see snakes that have lost eyes to prey bites, wouldn't want to see that happen to your, pretty snake 'bout 7-9 months old right? any ways don't listen to the dip-shit don't hurt the mouse jack asses, mice have to die to feed snakes, either you get to watch them die or someone else does, and personally I think a quick death is better than a slow one of freezing to death

  • She is actually almost 2 years old now.

  • Your snake is endanger of being bit but that mouse, although mice cannot bite as hard as rats can I always make sure to beat the mouse against a wall until it is knocked out or dead. little bites won't kill your snake unless it is in a dirty cage and septic infection occurs in which case you'll either have to go to the vet or feed it another mouse with the antibodies injected freshly into it,

  • Missed its first strike!

  • I have been doing a great deal of research on ball pythons and some wont eat non-live food. When this happens people suggest going as far as buying gerbils for them. When I get mine I will feed it live food. I have 2 beardies and they eat baby LIVE mice and also Baby frozen pinkies. They like em either way. Nice video and Joey is right.

  • who gives a fuck if it feeds live? Pythons and all snakes have done it for milliions of years just fucking fine didnt they? I think a large python can handle a mouse 1/5 of its size. Quick being little bitches about it? You know to get a dead rat you have to kill it so it's not like your saving the lives of them anways.

  • omg great snake whered u fget those colors i got regular and shes awesome plz tell me where u got ur snake

  • Dude the snake is probably the same as yours look at the background its red....duh

  • Funky background lol i like it. to all the people who think it is cruel; some snakes will only eat live as they do not recognise f/t or p/k as food now dont have a go at me coz my ball python eats f/t fine but that doesnt mean all snakes will if it doesnt eat it will die so it has to eat leave the people that feed live alone!!!

  • cooooool snake man!

  • i just dont understand why you cant just feed pythons dead mice!! its horrible to see :( but i suppose its nature ..

  • They like to see things die and suffer, its called being evil. Yes nature is like that, but its a pet snake, they can feed it dead ones, but they do not get pleasure from that.

  • Rather pathetic, shallow minded view you have there. It's enjoying watching an astonishingly well adapted hunter exercise its skill, which you don't really get feeding it a mouse that's already been killed. But, you're obviously too stupid and narrow minded to appreciate these animals for what they are. Probably typed your smug little message while chewing on a bacon cheeseburger. Do you cry for the cow that had it's brain mashed in for your dinner?

  • Its nature, yes, but anyone who enjoys it is evil, and the kind of people who end up becoming serial killers or psychos. Your the scum of the earth. Its a proven as a scientific fact that people observed to like animal suffering also tended to become human abusers. By the way its best not to assume, as your make yourself out to be the fool that you are. I am vegetarian. All people I know who kept snakes, fed them dead dead mice or rats. Who is stupid now?

  • You know what Faeden, this is the second snake feeding video I've seen you hating on. I think it's time you get a life, get with the program and stop trying to bring misery upon these loving pet owners. If it bothers you, DON'T WATCH THEM.

  • I have a life thanks, one that doesn't evolve enjoying the suffering of animals :)

  • Apperantly you DO enjoy the suffering if what this guy says is true, haha. You just like to make a comment based on assumption and opinion to make yourself seem so much better than anyone else on here. Get over yourself and move on.

  • I do not think I am better than these people I KNOW I am better than these people. It is not physically possible to sink as low as an animal abuser or someone who likes to cause the suffering of animals with maybe the exception of child abusers.

  • See, you are only assuming again. You are assuming that we are abusing animals, you are assuming that we like the mouse to suffer, and you are assuming that all people who own a snake are the same. So who now is arguing with ignorance? My theory is, you like to look up videos involving snakes eating mice just to bash on snake owners. So to that I say, get over it and move on to your next video.

  • No you are assuming that I believe all people who keep snakes are the same. I never once said that, so stop assuming, I said all people who feed them live bait are the same. My bother is a snake breeder and he doesn't feed his snakes live rats or mice because HE DOESNT HAVE TO. People only do because they like to see animals suffering. Wild snakes eat live pray yes, but PET SNAKES DO NOT HAVE TO.

  • Not all snakes eat dead mice. Some will only take live food. So again, get over it and stop being a jackass. Get over your self-righteous middle-aged self and leave these poor kids alone.

  • Middle aged LOL, I am not quite middle aged yet, and I have owned two snakes in the past. You keep having ignorance coming out your ears ,yet claim I am ignorant. LOL Its irony at its finest my friend. The myth that snakes will not eat dead pray is crap and a myth created by losers who like animal suffering. All snakes when hungry enough will eat it, they do not just starve and die.

  • That right there shows the ignorance you claim to be knowlede. Maybe you shoud read a book before saying all snakes will eat dead food. I myself have had some snakes nearly starve to death because they wouldnt eat a dead mouse. If I had let them starve, Id have animal rights people at my door. So take your hippie bs and conspiracy theories of snake owners and move on. Because your knowledge of snakes and assumptions of their owners is the only thing smelling of ignorance here.

  • I know your lying Joey, because as I said my brother breed literally 100s of snakes and not one of them needed to eat live food.

  • And that is your brother. He isnt the only one who has snakes, ya know. Talk to a breeder that deals with thousands of snakes a year; whos snake collections consist of hundreds. There are snakes that dont eat live. Either way, Im done trying to squeeze this little bit of knowledge through the thick portion of you head. Keep on your arguments, real snake keepers know better.

  • OK, but I think we both know you just lost the argument which is why you resorted to lies, and had to cut short your embarrassment and run. Nice try though.

  • it all depends on the pet store you get the snake from

i bought my ball python from a store that fed live mice

and i've tried everything to get him off of live mice, i've given him male frozen mice, female frozen mice, white frozen mice, black frozen mice, brown frozen mice, Grey frozen mice, and baby frozen chicks. he won't eat anything tha is dead, ball pythons are some of the most picky snakes, i want to feed my python dead snakes cause i feel bad for the mouse

  • Believe me your snake will eat dead bait sooner or later when he or she gets hungry enough.

  • hmm im pretty sure any longer then 2 months is animal abuse

  • Did you even listen to what I said? I said they will eat given the chance. They will not starve themselves to death just because the food isn't moving.

  • Until you own a snake yourself and have gone through the troubles and have your own experience to speak of, dont even bother making an argument. Until then your opinion is meaningless and worthless.

  • go get eaten by a snake, faeden, the world would be a better place without you and that would be one feeding i'd pay to see

  • Why don't you come get me then? Id love to see your face when you met me :)

  • You bleeding heart liberals should all mind your own fucken business. Everyone of you make me sick!! Why cant he feed HIS snake what he wants. Thats the problem with sociaety today...nobody knows how to mind their own damn business

  • @siofradhxxx some snakes refuse to eat anything but live mice. It's just how nature works, nothing wrong or sad about it.

  • lol. Snake missed. Dork.

  • that was good

  • If you TRULY want to care for that snake, you will feed f/t or p/k. It's not fun to have to buy a Cheap mouse and then spend $100-400+ on vet bills if that little mouse landed a bite, gave the snake parasites or bite it in the head Feeding live can be supervised only so much but you can't avoid the dangers. You might be lucky but it's bound to happen if the live feeding continues. I'm only looking out for the snake and it's well being. :)

  • hello hey i was curious to know if a baby ball python can eat fuzzys from birth thanks for the help i am new to the bp game

  • thats a baby???

  • Ball Pythons are born anywhere from 10-18 inches long .. I'm getting a 3 month old baby tommorow that's 15 inches long.

  • Whoops, meant to say she looks nice and healthy :) She could go with a more muscle and fat on her rather thin body. You should feed two mice or a fuzzy rat :)

  • Yeah she is eating rats now. Well Medium rats on Monday & Thursday a mouse.

  • Im glad :) Thanks for letting me know :) Sh elooks nice'n' fat :)

  • Is that the feedin gtank or the snakes viv? I hate using that substrate its horrible for keeping heat and humidity an dits just too open even with the multiple hides and fake plants and all..

  • At the time it was the Viv, with all the accoutrements removed for cleaning. I use that carpet along with a heat pad & a much bigger tank and many hides. Don't worry she is well taken care of.
