Another gay marriage that's structured like this is Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders (writer/creators of Absolutely Fabulous), though Dawn does still perform occasionally. Great interview by Jane Pauley-- thank you for posting this!

@yetanotheraccount2re Dawn French is straight and was married to fellow comic actor Lenny Henry for 25 years (they divorced in 2010). Saunders has been married to fellow comic actor Adrian Edmondson since 1985 and they have three kids together. I don't believe this is exactly the same model as Lily and Jane (yes, I'm being sarcastic).
