Hi my family lived on Betio from 1980 to 1982 and there was a wreck of a tank exactly like this in the sea at the bottom of our garden. We had a lovely two years there.

@sylicone221 From what moderate research I've done on traveling there, round-trip airfare will cost $2,500 USD to take a Air Pacific from Los Angeles (LAX) to Fiji to Bonriki International Airport (TRW), plus the cost of getting to and from where I live to LA (I live in Michigan). In order to take in the whole country, I figure spend no less than two weeks there (lodging, food, and souvenirs). If I go, It'll probably be a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and I want to do it right.

Im putting this on my myspace. Im half Kilbertese and I still have family there in Tarawa, Ambo and Christmas Island. Last time I was there was in 1992 when my grandma passed away. I miss the laid back life there...thanks for the video. It brings back alot of memories that I'll always cherish.
