You did use a lot of melee but you were risky, which in these sorts of situations of practically no escape is good, Napolean used risks a lot in these sorts of battles!

you shouldnt of made your rangers go into melee.. their poor for that you should of made them go away fro mthe battle aroudn the enemy and shot them from behind.

When u face a bigger or an equivalent army mostly constitued mostly by cavalry,u should rely more on your rifle tactics because that way cavalry is destroyed at range and they desmoralize.Making easier to crush them with less deads.

TRUELY AGREE...

youre more developed, you have gunpowder advatage, you should use it

remember indians specialize melee, you shouldnt have used that ammount of melee this war

and he's right about the cavs, they were attacking (2 untis of cabs) your troops, why sending melee support? instead get your man steady and fire, they cant fire back at you.

and you really should research the square formation, in those kind of battles where you have to defend from a lot of cavs, i think it would be helpful.

man in this battle i just HATE your strategy when there are 2 units of cav and killing 1 unit of ur cav ind infantry let your army fire their cav down you were sitting and looking at them man

you would need 4 line units for one square and only one side would likely face infantry so flanking that kinda of a formation would be easy plus getting it into place fast enough would be a bitch. sage RES SQUARES!!!

Try sending one of your ships exploring around the coasts of Central and South America. That'll help you to locate the pirates' territories. Then you can start to plan to take them out.

Bowmen have pretty much the worst melee stats in the game. Your doing the right thing by charging them.

All in all though. Great battle! that was certainly a major battle. Big enough to certainly damge morale for the Indians. Outnumbered and my be outgunned. But I am sure it is a victory For the British Empire.

I must say, given the circumstances (being caught in the middle and against lost of cav.) you still held your ground pretty good. Really liked it that you really tried to keep your lines and away from melee as much as you could. Nice improvement over past videos. Not quite sure what was wrong with some of your units (~4:40) but really loved that charge ~5:01 (yes, u gave them that order @ ~4:31).

OK, the AI was just too stupid in that one, but nice job!

and while you don't have the firing drills yet, and are fighting against an infantry that mainly uses melee, spread your lines further. that way more men will fire at once, that's why the comp. only lost you 4 men on the last battle. You have the advantage of muskets, so use it.

I hate the cherokee nation. I usally get bowmen, lancer, minutemen, and artillary from them but hardly any melee unites.
