Nimhs are awsome skates but i would reccomend investing in a usd or razor buckle because me and my mates have had times when its popped open randomly but keep the recievers on the left side of your cos they're spring loaded unlike the others and you can now get pregrooved souls on most of the skates

Nice. I just got the newest sk8s from nimh. I got them 5 months ago. There called the nimh shaman skates. There really awesome. They have the gc feather lite 2 frames and the new 2010 nimh liner. There prettey sweet. I also made a video of me unboxing them and some videos of me riding them.

for anybody Just skate startin to skate do your self a favor n get razors or somethin to where the technolgy of the skate its self is further advance then the skater ridin them...razors is by far one o of the most inovative brands but they keep the basics...flexible cuff, always a great liner solid soul/ Backslide plate ...typically GC frames that are light to match anybody at any level can roll razors...deshi, remz,nimhs not for beginners

@lisn2zeppelin1 thanks for pointing this out, cause I was just about to tell these guys this skate looks pretty intense. To start out might as well get a pair of razors and get a cool frame for it. Cheap and awesome. Although I just saw these nimh v2 boots only for $99 online - free shipping. So it is tempting...

i got them skates and razors are better and the grind on razors are faster than nimhs but the liner is soooo comfortable but the buckle sucks ass its cums loose

Im kinda new so Im not really that great at tricks and I was wondering if I should get these or Rollerblade Downtown 5s?

My friend said that since I told him I like street skating that I should probably get these but Im worried that since I cant do many tricks I wont be able to make a decent groove.

I dont kno a whole lot personally for either skate cuz I havent skated them, but the dude in the video seems to really like the nimhs. U can make ur own groove with ur hands though. I would say go with nimhs but it is more of how they feel when u skate.

well personaly the nimh is far the greatest skate i have skated. i use to sk8 remz.but i wanted 2 try something new and slim..nimh was it! perfect for my best trick (top soulyale)

there us no toe. they come with the toe already out.

if you just got them, walk around in the liner whenever you're not trying to break them in skating. you just have to break them in to make them stretch. if you get 11 jugs, it'll be the same thing, you'll have to break them in. be patient.

You said you can't take the skin off? I think I saw a edit somewhere where someone was modding pat lennens nimhs and he was cutting up the boot without the skins.. suppose he must have mashed the buckle haha

you can, you gotta screw off the skin and cut the skin off you actually can replace the skin.

is this a good skate for a beginner

cuz i doubt ill be able to grind the first day

and when i do start grinding, how will i be able to try without a nice groove, so basically is this a good beginner skate and is it possible to make a groove using like sandpaper or somethin?

They could be good. The best way to make a groove before you skate is like a curb or an unwaxed ledge and then they should be fine for you.
