it isnt a rail....and that isnt my rail its just the only grindable thing in my backyard i had at the time so i used it. and no it never broke. (the video is over a year old and i still have it and its not broken.) and i have 2 real rails a 10 ft round one my uncle made me (he works for a fencing company)and a small 60 inch round one from walmart.

Nah i have rails and want five-o's but torch are the best model to do skatepark stuff in because they have the mega wheel, rail brings fats and fats are just no good for vert.

Yeah any candel will do, some work better then others and some dry up/ melt onto the rail after a while in the sun so its a trial and error thing, just keep trying till you find one you like.

yeah, man, they're so comfy, some of the most comfy shoes around. The sole is flexible, and soft, feels like you're walking on a cloud.

They aren't stiff and hard like a lot of Heelys, If you want to grind man, you don't want those Torches.

by the way, could the comfort issues be because of how they make your heel higher up because of the wheel they have to put in there? I dunno, just a thought.

maybe the heelys guys should focus more on the comfort issues. I heard they make quite a few models, and if they discontinued these shoes already, I kind of believe that.

yup torches are eleated more of the ground because of the wider mega wheel which is better for vert, they had to make room in the heel for the wheel, now they have newer models called "grind this" (stupid name i know) and "rail" that come with fats and have a smaller heel. if your still intrested in heeling id suggest those if you still intrested in only grinding the get some SOAPs either way their both fun.

yeah soaps are fun but id have to disagree about the comfartableness. on torches pop out the wheels and dont put in the caps landing from a grind feels good you know nike shox? they kind of feel like that. because theres nothing under there in the first place, i admit soaps feel better but why bash me, im a heeler first i just like grinding and torches feel are more convenient.

Holy crap man, that is AWESOME!. It's like inline skating, but you like don't have to be out skating to do it. You could just be out doing an errand or something, and you could grind on anything anywhere. That's some sick stuff.

dude, why are you wearing pads, and a helmet, the rail is like, toe high, and your in the grass.....soapers don't even wear helmets, and they grind fuckin handrails that are waist to chest high.

So they do have them in a size 12? I did check one sports authority, they didn't even know heelys had grind plates apparently. And then I heard something about the m being discontinued. Yeah theyre made, a bit hard to find bit theyre made, adults are getting more and more into the heeling scene and since they disposable income they snatch up any torches that come up >.> last time i checked Ebay there were a few sz 12 torches.

Thanks anyway for the info about the torches Seth, but I will just get soap shoes. I can't find heelys anywhere since so many places don't sell them for being dangerous(the wheel), I can't find torches in any store, soap shoes seem a lot cheaper than heelys, and I would like to have a pair of shoes that don't murder your feet lol.

ok torches but not this model torch. the yellow ones are only available at sports authority. theres 3 colors of torches: all Black, red and charcoal, and black/gold (yellow) black/yellow is only available at sports authority. Torches in general are available in ALOT of places.

Ive seen it. but some people have been asking me for one and i figured since i speak english might as well. Believe me when people ask i lead them to yours but meh i was bored and 2 more people asked so i made one. Oh and theres one thing wrong in yours. If you heel right footed its better to grind lefty and if your lefty its better to grind righty.
