I once attended a church where the bible they used on a regular basis was the NIV, but my Sunday School teacher used the NASB, and every time a guest speaker came to speak they might use the ESV or the NLT etc...
I was so confused!
Praise the Lord for KJV only churches, it is important that everyone is "on the same page."
Thank you, husky394xp for this video. I believe also, that the KJV1611 is THE inspired Word of God. And, as you said, other translations through time served their purpose, but the KJV1611 is the FINAL Word of God, and all the new versions(or perversions) are deceitful, full of leaven so to speak. I refer to them lightly as men's commentaries. I just recently started a study into why the Apocrypha was taken out of the KJV1611.
I exclusively use my King James Bible: I love it and believe that it is the inspired Word of God. However, I was thinking about how the Old Testament, originally the Tanakh, was in a different order. I think it was Jerome who reordered the Old and New Testaments. Before Jerome, the OT was different from Judges onward. Ending with the Chronicles, and having the Major prophets following the Kings. Why do we have a different order of the books?
I agree with everything you exposed in this video, I’ve read in Spanish [1John4:2]“Jesus came in the flesh” “Jesus vino en la carne” the Spanish “carne” can only be translated into the English “meat”
body can only be translated as “cuerpo” not “carne”.
So I see using the word body in that verse is a bit confusing.
Continuing from my last post....I'm baffled how a brother who KNOWS the Bible version issue and has seen the attacks on doctrines in the new versions can return to the thought that there is more than one translation that is the word of God. I suppose maybe he had the appearance of a King James Bible Believer but never really was one? The "division" and lack of "gentleness" from the King James camp apparently offended him. Sigh.....
I know a brother in the Lord at my workplace. When I first got saved he was someone I spoke with often and even looked up to. He was a staunch King James Believer. I remember him bringing in "New Age Bible Versions" by Riplinger and we spoke about it. For someone reason, he ended up in a church where they are NOT King James and have NIV's in the pews. Now, he attacks the King James stance and believes in annihilation. I was troubled and stunned. A sure sign of the last days, a falling away.
Just wondering, what do you think about "The Scriptures" Bible? The Institute for Scripture Research made it. I think it's pretty interesting, but do you know if it's accurate and correct? Or if it isn't? I use KJV as well...
Well, it may be small consolation, but there are other defenders of the AV (KJV) Bible besides Bible-believing Protestants. Even some Catholics (myself included) regard it as the ultimately superior Bible. I had a Greek Orthodox friend who refused the gift of a NKJV Bible, saying, "I'm an educated man. I don't need any English Bible but the best one, the King James Bible. I also am an Orthodox Greek Christian; we have our Greek Bible and the K.J.V. in English and we don't need anything more."
Erasmus is only pointed out as a catholic because that's the very argument KJV only reps use for the reason to avoid the Vaticanus Text. I've heard that argument myself. I've also heard it said not to rely on the Alexandrian Texts because the Alexandrians worshipped false gods. Yet when you point out that King James wasn't a Christian, the argument turns to, "well God can use lost people to accomplish His will". Complete contradictions once again. You accuse non-KJVers of doing what KJVers do.
@paulrice007 First of all, Erasmus' text was REJECTED by the Catholic church. Vaticanus is NOT rejected by them. Also, it wasn't Erasmus' Greek text that was used to translate the KJV. Please remember that Erasmus merely collated Greek manuscripts into a workable text. He did NOT make up a text out of thin air!
King James wasn't saved? That's the first I've heard of that! Have you even looked into his testimony? Or are you just parroting the lies about him?
The Lord's name is Jesus. These letters are in perfect order and pronounced distinctly. The Lord magnified his word above his name. Therefore, every letter of every word of God is set in perfect order and preserved for all generations
My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Psalms 89:34
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. Psalms 138:2
Can you recommend any book(s) (ISBN, Publisher, etc) that contain the Textus Receptus, and the Masoretic Hebrew?
While we know that the W-H greek text is a counterfeit. My understanding is that the "modern" versions use the UBS, and Nestle-Aland texts... which, themselves, are based on the W-H text.... ALL of which, are based on the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus perversions that originated with Origen.
I'm looking for a copy of the greek and hebrew texts used by the King's translators.
You are not a "King James only" but are a King James Bible believer? Do you mean something like" King James Bible ONLY" type of believer? It is "funny" how you accuse non King James only believers of the very same things "King James" only are guilty of. You are a "King James only" because you only believe in that one translation. You just happen to be the believer variety, but still King James only. It is all semantics and technicalities. Peace to you.
I made a video showing scripture missing from NIV. the name of the video is King James Bible trumps NIV Bible. I heard the NIV was written by a gay person. Nobody knows, but there are 4 places in the Word of God that specifically say not to add or remove scripture. Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32, Proverbs 30:6, and Revelation 22:18-19.
I got attacked with all of the same arguments: King James was a homo, they didn't have all of the manuscripts that we have now so it's not as accurate as the NIV, being KJV is like being in a cult, that old world English is hard to read and understand; thankfully I defeated all of their arguments through faith in what Pastor Steve Anderson was preaching here on YouTube
steven anderson has to be the worst pastor on earth .

Hey there, enjoying the beard and video's, which off the back of I have now ordered my first KJV Bible. Just a quick question, but I have heard others claim that the KJV used a majority of the Geneva Bible, coupled with some dodgy Latin Vulgate text (especially in Revelation). What is your take on this? Why not use the Geneva translation instead? How do you deal with the inaccuracies, such as the inclusion of the word "Jehovah", which I believe is a made up word following an error in translatin
@sketchbycandle Jehovah is God's name, neither is any creature so called. And is as much to say as one that is of himself, and dependeth of nothing. Moreover as oft as thou seest LORD in great letters (except there be any error in the printing) it is in Hebrew Jehovah, thou that art or he that is. (Tyndale's Old Testament, p. 82).
@WayOfTheMaster454 Yes, and the same Billy Graham says that Catholics and Muslims are headed for Heaven! Billy doesn't believe in Hell. He believes Pope John Paul the 2nd and Bill and Hillary Clinton were all Christians! Billy Graham also received an honourary "Yoke of Rome" from a Catholic University!!
Yeah, you really proved your point by quoting Billy Graham!
@husky394xp -- 1 of 2 Catholics ARE headed for heaven, so long as we believe in Jesus Christ. And Ive heard what B. Graham said in refference to other religions, and I agree, but I would state it thus: A Muslim who has the Law written on their heart will achieve heaven, not because he followed the islamic faith well, but because God is merciful and knows everyones situation. Jesus is the savior of all men "especially" those of the household of faith.
Catholics and Muslims are headed for HELL!!! Good night man! You really need to study the beliefs of Catholicism and Islam! BOTH cults have slaughtered MILLIONS of Christians!
Neither cult teaches that Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. (John 14:6 & Acts 4:12)
By "we" I guess that makes you a Catholic. Your system is nothing more than the ancient pagan/cannibalistic system of Baal worship, with names stolen from the Bible.
You can find Billy Graham saying that Muslims are members of the body of Christ on the Robert Schuller program, by looking for a video entitled "Billy Graham Denies Jesus Is The ONLY WAY To The Father".
You can also watch an excellent sermon which also shows the Billy Graham speech, by going to bbbfohio's channel and watching a sermon called "Satanic Ministers (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)".
Admittedly, I only made it 10 minutes through but was confused as to whether you really are KJV only and used the other examples as satire or if you concede that some of the modern translations provide more accuracy in certain areas. In other words, do you think it's heresy to study from the NASB, NKJV and the like? Thanks in advance!
I used an NIV for 15 years before the Lord showed me the truth. I was open-minded and looked at both sides of the issue. There are VERY serious problems with the new versions. Please take the time to look into this issue.
I have a lot of hardcore info in my series "The REAL Bible Version Issue Exposed".
@husky394xp Based on your statement and for the sake of truth and accuracy, it seems that you're actually a King James Bible Only Believer, not simply a KJV Bible believer like I am. I appreciate your testimony in story and concern for what is truth. I'll head over to the series that you directed me to since I'm curious about what you have to say.
On this same topic, have you ever read the book, "The King James Only Controversy: Can You Trust the Modern Translations" by James R White? Thx.
@Patriot36 Yes, I have both editions of James White's book. He is one of the worst liars out there! White has been refuted so many times, it is ridiculous that anyone even takes him serious anymore.
I am planning a video on his book at some point in the future.
@husky394xp Since I haven't researched the extent of James White's "lying" what do you suppose his devilish motives are in suggesting that anything other than the KJV might be acceptable for the studying of God's word? I came to know and surrender to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ about s 7 years ago & until the last year had never owned a KJV. Having regularly read the KJV which I also love, I've not come across any differences in the essence of God from what I already understood. Thoughts?
@husky394xp ~ Excellent video! All these people need to do is an hour of research and come to the Conclusion! This information is NOT difficult! The Copyright? & also the Corrupt Publishers of all the other Bibles?? All someone REALLY has to do is READ the LAST page of the Bible??REVELATION~ 22:19?? Hmm?? Even Good Ol' Satanist Aleister Crowley used the KJV?? Do what "THOU" wilt?? LoL! :)
I love what you present cause I was misinformed also or what you might proffer a pervert or hopefully you are referring mainly to those who purposely try to change or take away from the true pure text of the King James bible.
I commend your work on behalf of the KJV. I saw the documentary "KJB" - excellent work. I was in awe. I wish you would be more supportive of those that read only the King James Bible while occasionally looking to Strongs Concordance for clarification on certain words. Hey, at least we are not reading or supporting other versions :)
I listened carefully to every word you said. It was 53 minutes and 57 seconds well spent. I loved it! Thanks for sharing what you have learned. Well done.
@Gr4v3Digg3r "While claiming to have "preserved the authority and accuracy" of the original KJV, the actual result is a hybrid text which incorporates many changes identical with or similar to the corruptions found in other modern Bible versions." av1611.com/kjbp/articles/reynolds-nkjv.html
Amen brother!!! Yes, study the issue concerning the King James Bible and the manuscript evidence! Read "Final Authority by James Grady" or "The Legacy of our English Bible by John Wesley Sawyer". The evidence is readily available if you want to have an answer to the modern counterfeit bibles.
This was a good video, but I think I would've left out the little "magic" bit you did there with the editing. In my opinion It just doesn't seem appropriate. I do realize you didn't mean anything by it, but still.
@guitardavid79 Jimmy White is a terrific lawyer but an awful theologian. He's wins debates like an attorney, but the theological presuppositions of his arguments concerning Calvinism and KJV only are always flawed.
This is a very serious problem. The A.V. 1611 is the only perfect preserved word of God for the English speaking world. All other "bibles" from the modern translators are Catholic bibles. Beware brothers, be vigilant about it. I find independent baptists making excuses for modernists now.
I had a hard time with kjb and bought a niv now I regret paying the money for that bible. My desire to read the bible left then I found a yard sale kjb and I want to read it all the time. I think that odd but I feel more satified when reading the kjv.
Respectfully, can a person be a son of GOD by simply living the gospel of Jesus; Love God your Father, and love your fellow man? or is it impossible without the bible.
Please read James White's book "The King James Only Controversy." It is the best book written about the subject from a true Christian and true scholarly perspective. God Bless you brother.
@williamstdog9 I have both editions. James White is one of the worst liars alive today. He is doing Satan's work by destroying Christian's faith in the King James Bible.
He defends versions which come from the Vatican, and then acts like he is against Catholicism! He is a liar and a faker!
@husky394xp Can you please supply me with just two examples of this?
I would never call someone a liar (let alone the worst one "alive today" without at least pointing out TWO of his major lies. Please supply me with two lies from Dr. White.
@williamstdog9 Page 28 of White's book; "As a result, these folks go so far as to say that the Greek and Hebrew texts should be changed to fit the readings found in the KJV!" He lied! What was his proof? Check his footnote #6. He doesn't give ANY documentation to prove this attack!
Page 300-301 has White claiming that King James was a homosexual. This has been disproved so often that it shows his wicked intent in bringing it up again! King James was married with 8 children. He was NOT a queer!
I <3 the KJV but it does have it's issues. Name translations and using "the LORD" instead of His name, YaHuWaH, are a few handful of complaints. Nevertheless it is #1 for me. It was the bible mainly used for English during the Philadelphia church period. By the fruit you will know... That is enough for me. Compare that to the Laodecia church of today... nuff said.
The problem with other versions it completely corrupts one of the major methods in which we learn from the word...
Comparing scripture with scripture!
Letting scripture interpret scripture becomes impossible when verses are changed and/or removed... And this is the goal in my opinion by those who would seek to corrupt.... they seek to keep the believers faith from growing(filled with the Spirit)by study.
I also think that it keeps the majority if not all of those who read lost.
@rossmage Read Acts 12:1-4. Herod (who was a pagan) executed James, and he was going to kill Peter too, BUT he wanted to wait until AFTER his pagan holiday of EASTER to do it.
The new versions use the word "Passover" in Acts 12:4, which doesn't make any sense because Herod would NOT have celebrated a Jewish holiday. Herod was a pagan, and Easter is the correct word in Acts 12:4.
@rossmage Well just like Iesus, Jesus, Loed and God are in there! controlled by the VATICAN and all pagan names. Do not call on any of those names, he will not hear you. look at the channel for His real name, and His son.
@rossmage Hi ... because Herod never celebrated Resurrection Sunday with Christ as the Passover for us...lol He celebrated more of a pagan easter at a time convenient to him and the festivals of others around him. God bless you
Oh! It didn't even occur to me that you would have quit the King James Bible! Not a chance!
I literally want to throw up when I hear people who presume to be so knowledgeable! I had such pleasure requesting one clarify something and she couldn't! They just like how they sound, as if they really know something! These do no more than repeat what they have heard from others who know nothing!
The King James Bible translators were incredibly brilliant...and just as humble! Nothing like we see today!
So let me get this straight. It was ok for Erasmus, a Roman Catholic, to collate Greek manuscripts which were foundational for the KJV. Yet it is not ok for Roman Catholics to be involved in translation committees to help translate modern versions? Yep, you have made a believer out of me.
@husky394xp That didn't answer my question. Why was it ok for a catholic to give you your particular Greek text but not ok for Catholics to be involved in translating the Bible into English? However, I would like to ask you a question concerning the Greek texts that the Orthodox Churches use. Do they use the modern version or the Received Text?
@shamounian I DID answer the question, you just didn't like my answer.
The Greek Orthodox churches USE the Receptus type manuscripts, but they don't follow them. Just like many people USE the KJV, but don't follow its teachings.
@husky394xp Ok, so the Orthodox use the TR tradition and yet you still find fault with them because THEY DON'T FOLLOW AN ENGLISH VERSION? Moreover, even though they have the TR that is still no guarantee that they are doctrinally sound? Wow! And you have a problem with Catholics and modern versions!!! BTW, here is another question. Who copied and preserved the Alexandrian stream?
@shamounian You must have difficulty reading plain English. I said they USE the Greek Receptus, but they don't FOLLOW it's teachings. The Orthodox are just like Catholics in regards to the Bible. Scripture is part of their ceremonies, but they refuse to follow the TEACHINGS of the Bible.
Mormons USE the KJV, but they don't FOLLOW it's teachings!
There are less that 50 "Alexandrian" type Greek manuscripts. They are old, and barely used for the reasons I mentioned earlier.
I love your definition of unity.
I once attended a church where the bible they used on a regular basis was the NIV, but my Sunday School teacher used the NASB, and every time a guest speaker came to speak they might use the ESV or the NLT etc...
I was so confused!

@Patriot36 I am a King James Bible believer.
I used an NIV for 15 years before the Lord showed me the truth. I was open-minded and looked at both sides of the issue. There are VERY serious problems with the new versions. Please take the time to look into this issue.
I have a lot of hardcore info in my series "The REAL Bible Version Issue Exposed".
husky394xp 6 months ago
@husky394xp Based on your statement and for the sake of truth and accuracy, it seems that you're actually a King James Bible Only Believer, not simply a KJV Bible believer like I am. I appreciate your testimony in story and concern for what is truth. I'll head over to the series that you directed me to since I'm curious about what you have to say.
On this same topic, have you ever read the book, "The King James Only Controversy: Can You Trust the Modern Translations" by James R White? Thx.
Patriot36 6 months ago
@Patriot36 Yes, I have both editions of James White's book. He is one of the worst liars out there! White has been refuted so many times, it is ridiculous that anyone even takes him serious anymore.
I am planning a video on his book at some point in the future.
husky394xp 6 months ago
@husky394xp Since I haven't researched the extent of James White's "lying" what do you suppose his devilish motives are in suggesting that anything other than the KJV might be acceptable for the studying of God's word? I came to know and surrender to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ about s 7 years ago & until the last year had never owned a KJV. Having regularly read the KJV which I also love, I've not come across any differences in the essence of God from what I already understood. Thoughts?
Patriot36 6 months ago

What is your opinion about the NKJV bible?
Gr4v3Digg3r 8 months ago

Good informative video though, as always.

Thank-you for shareing your studies.

williamstdog9 8 months ago
@williamstdog9 I have both editions. James White is one of the worst liars alive today. He is doing Satan's work by destroying Christian's faith in the King James Bible.
He defends versions which come from the Vatican, and then acts like he is against Catholicism! He is a liar and a faker!
husky394xp 8 months ago
@husky394xp Can you please supply me with just two examples of this?
I would never call someone a liar (let alone the worst one "alive today" without at least pointing out TWO of his major lies. Please supply me with two lies from Dr. White.
And if you can't, just supply me with one.
Thank you.
williamstdog9 8 months ago
@williamstdog9 Page 28 of White's book; "As a result, these folks go so far as to say that the Greek and Hebrew texts should be changed to fit the readings found in the KJV!" He lied! What was his proof? Check his footnote #6. He doesn't give ANY documentation to prove this attack!
Page 300-301 has White claiming that King James was a homosexual. This has been disproved so often that it shows his wicked intent in bringing it up again! King James was married with 8 children. He was NOT a queer!
husky394xp 8 months ago
I <3 the KJV but it does have it's issues. Name translations and using "the LORD" instead of His name, YaHuWaH, are a few handful of complaints. Nevertheless it is #1 for me. It was the bible mainly used for English during the Philadelphia church period. By the fruit you will know... That is enough for me. Compare that to the Laodecia church of today... nuff said.
mcflmjig 8 months ago
much needed and on target as always
KingJamesBible 8 months ago
The problem with other versions it completely corrupts one of the major methods in which we learn from the word...
Comparing scripture with scripture!
Letting scripture interpret scripture becomes impossible when verses are changed and/or removed... And this is the goal in my opinion by those who would seek to corrupt.... they seek to keep the believers faith from growing(filled with the Spirit)by study.
I also think that it keeps the majority if not all of those who read lost.

isnt Easter a pagan word? why is it in the kjv instead of resurrection day
rossmage 8 months ago
@rossmage Read Acts 12:1-4. Herod (who was a pagan) executed James, and he was going to kill Peter too, BUT he wanted to wait until AFTER his pagan holiday of EASTER to do it.
The new versions use the word "Passover" in Acts 12:4, which doesn't make any sense because Herod would NOT have celebrated a Jewish holiday. Herod was a pagan, and Easter is the correct word in Acts 12:4.
Good question. Thank you for asking!
husky394xp 8 months ago
@husky394xp ...and the myth continues. "Easter" means "resurrection day", period. I'll send a pm for your edification.

the king james Bible is the word of God, there is no doubt.
I am learning almost daily from the same pages I have read many times over when I was unsaved.
I would suggest every believer to study for them selves, the Lord truly is a great teacher.

Yep, you have made a believer out of me.
shamounian 8 months ago 2
@shamounian Have Catholics used Erasmus' text or ANY other edition of the Textus Receptus, to make a translation? NO!
Have Catholics used the Nestle's text to make their translations? YES!
Erasmus' actions were NEVER accepted by the Catholic church.
The new versions are promoted by the Catholic church!
Get it now?
husky394xp 8 months ago
@husky394xp That didn't answer my question. Why was it ok for a catholic to give you your particular Greek text but not ok for Catholics to be involved in translating the Bible into English? However, I would like to ask you a question concerning the Greek texts that the Orthodox Churches use. Do they use the modern version or the Received Text?
shamounian 8 months ago
@shamounian I DID answer the question, you just didn't like my answer.
The Greek Orthodox churches USE the Receptus type manuscripts, but they don't follow them. Just like many people USE the KJV, but don't follow its teachings.
husky394xp 8 months ago
@husky394xp Ok, so the Orthodox use the TR tradition and yet you still find fault with them because THEY DON'T FOLLOW AN ENGLISH VERSION? Moreover, even though they have the TR that is still no guarantee that they are doctrinally sound? Wow! And you have a problem with Catholics and modern versions!!! BTW, here is another question. Who copied and preserved the Alexandrian stream?
shamounian 8 months ago
@shamounian You must have difficulty reading plain English. I said they USE the Greek Receptus, but they don't FOLLOW it's teachings. The Orthodox are just like Catholics in regards to the Bible. Scripture is part of their ceremonies, but they refuse to follow the TEACHINGS of the Bible.
Mormons USE the KJV, but they don't FOLLOW it's teachings!
There are less that 50 "Alexandrian" type Greek manuscripts. They are old, and barely used for the reasons I mentioned earlier.
