  • this guy is so out of breath...i think he swallowed one to many bugs

  • U look hamered

  • Crap review. How about riding the thing? How about comparing side by side to something else. Not even a walk around the bike.

  • @jacklane61 would YOU want to ride a frikkin BMW? haha.

mind you the new wing looks as bad as this thing.

  • Wait a minute ! Isn't is easier to service the valves on the GoldWing, if needed?

Won't the name BMW entail more complexity when servicing the engine?

I like the new six, but I feel a straight 8 would give more punch whilst exiting corners, 2-up and towing a U-boat on a trailer, in a stong headwind, and tornado.

  • I liked your video very much.

  • he looks like he's drunk

  • Ignorant comment about kicking a Wing's ass in the curvies - dial up "Yellow Wolf and Goldwing on the Dragon's Tail and tell me how a BMW is going to kick that Wing ass.......it's the rider stupid.

  • @fofi1955 Im pretty sure hes comparing the bikes performance not the riders skill. Hence the same rider would be able to ride faster on the BMW...which is 100% true. Ride one after the other and then disagree lol

  • @fofi1955 Not so ignorant. Yellow Wolf may be awesome on the Wing, but he'd be faster on the BMW. I haven't ridden the new GTL yet, but I've ridden the Wing and K1200LT thousands of miles. BMW is the better handler; the Wing is a little faster. If the new GTL handles better than the LT (which it apparently does) and is quite a bit faster than both the LT and the Wing (which it is), then it will kick the Wing's ass in the curves or anywhere else, with the same rider.

  • @fofi1955 No matter how good a rider is there are limitations to what a bike can do. Yes the Goldwing does a phenomenal job of handling given it's weight and limited ground clearance.

But my question to you is, have you ridden both a Goldwing and the new K1600 GTL? I have and while I don't consider myself an "expert" rider I can easily say that I can make the K1600GTL perform better. It has 40 more hp than the GW, more torque and much more ground clearance. It is phenomenal.

  • What the GTL doesn't bring is better or equal passenger accommodations versus the Goldwing, hence my purchase of a new goldwing.

Good to see someone push Honda along finally though, maybe they will finally be forced to unleash a new goldwing.

  • @Oso1G The GTL has passenger accommodations that are close if not equal to the GW. If there is a difference in passenger comfort it's worth the small sacrifice, for me at least, to have the faster and more sporty bike. I've ridden both bikes and I found the GTL much more exciting and it was exactly what I was looking for in a luxury sport touring bike, so I ordered one.

  • @burkerow It's not even close, I've ridden both bikes as well, 2 up no less. For 2 up long distance riding, the Goldwing is tops. The GTL will make a superb one up tour bike after it show itself to be a reliable platform.

  • @Oso1G I've not ridden on the back of either bike but my wife has, albeit briefly in test rides. But we also rode 2 up on my HD V Rod for 3,300 mile road trip last year. My wife is a tough lady and anything is comfortable after that trip. The GL1800 is the gold standard in comfort. If I could have 2 bikes, a naked roadster and a tourer, the GW might be my choice. But if I can only have one bike it would be a comfortable, sporty, fast bike that I can remove the luggage, and that's the GTL

  • @burkerow For a all around choice, I would agree with the GTL.......

  • @Oso1G Probably true, but the K1200LT beats them both for purely "long distance" riding, and yes I've ridden all three. The LT is as comfortable as the Wing, is just a hair slower, handles a hair better, but is MUCH better protection against the weather for both rider and passenger. And I nice low mileage LT will cost half of a Wing.

  • @Buruc Cant wait till im old enough to appreciate em :)

  • was there any reason whatsoever for that music?

  • When we are over riding BMW DS bikes this will be something to think about...one thing though...BMW needs to develop a luxury touring bike not so made for 2 up. We like riding our own bikes...;-)

  • what do you expect its made by BMW.

  • that Wakka wakka thing in the background is soooo annoying..

  • @bboybino racist

  • 0:54 Dude!! :D

  • it sounds like a toyota supra. whoa.

  • this reviewer dude looks like he just woke up.

  • That exhaust note is awesome for something that I'm sure is meant to be quiet and comfortable on the ears...

  • Sweet 6 !

  • That thing sounds amazing

  • if i were gay id buy this

  • @J4AProductions u better start saving

  • @J4AProductions

    So buy it!

  • @J4AProductions I think you and your life partner would look great on this!

  • @J4AProductions So are you saying that if you were gay you'd be smart enough to buy the GTL? or rich enough to buy it? LOL
