  • I have trained myself to meditate at level of the crown chakra for years now and I have developed the ability to communicate telepathically, as well as see a few years into the future. I can read other people's thoughts to the extent that if the person imagines a 4 digit number, I can guess it right most of the time. For 3 times, I was able to leave my body, but I have no mastery or control over it. I'm still trying to learn how to control it freely.

  • i have to say everyone, in the past year and a half i have really come to realize something vary important about life; that it is beautifull and everlasting, i have started to look within instead of outwards towards the physical plane, the physical plane is just a stage where souls manifest into physical beings and it is full of so many dualities, anyway one important thing i have learned is that life is "I AM" always goin to be, so why not start to live this beautifull pool of limitless beauty!

  • I'm having a hard time imagining the colors, whenever i close my eyes or try to imagine anything I only see black - I dont know how to vision these things in my head - if someone could help me it'd help me a lot mentally and spiritually

    I would say don't worry about visualising- just let the words wash over you- or watch the images rather than 'trying hard' to visualise. some people do struggle with visualsations but as you wake up your creative side of the brain it will get easier.

  • Hi, I'am new here. I'am very interested in meditation. I started to meditate 2 weeks ago and 1 week ago started to meditate on chakras. So My questions are:

    1) Is it dangerous to meditate on chakras everyday few times in the morning and in the evening?

    2) I heard that some people got traumas or gone insane, because they meditated on chakras in wrong way, is that possible?

    3) I meditated on chakras 6 or 7 days and it feels good, but now I'am scared, please give Me some advices.

    Hello, it's gtrea you are meditating so much! you will find whats right for you after you have meditated for a while. personally i find i get energised by meditating on my chakras so i tend to use it in the mornings only.

    I dont know anyone who has gone 'insane' by meditating on the chakras but any form of meditation can release past/present emotions/traumas so it is good to have a teacher or close friend to talk with if this happens for you.

  • I do know someone who's psychic abilities came though after meditating and using crystals on her chakras- but this would have happened to her at some time anyway! Meditation can bring forth your hidden gifts :)

    It is NEVER dangerous to meditate on Chakras. You can meditate on them ALL DAY LONG. Not possible to have any kind of negative affect. Let go of your fear ... it's your ego trying to stop you from being centred and at peace, because you're not giving it (your ego) attention. You will experience increased mental clarity, peace and joy ... well done for continuing with it <3

The reason why people go insane or something like that is because they tend to 'unlock' or focus on the higher chakras, both upper and the 8th to 12th spiritual chakras(these chakras are your main gates to your higher self), and because they focus on these chakras, they tend to forget that without good foundation, that's when the energy system deteriorates so it is very advisable, practitioner or not to have a very strong root chakra and good main chakras

  • @Neznakomsas I can understand the claim that people are deemed insane, as they switch their stances on many issues. It's just an unreasonable argument to keep you in the dark. Meditating unlocks our capabilities, don't believe the haters.

  • It would be extremely valuable to learn to pronounce this Sanskrit word "chakra" properly. The proper pronunciation begins with the sound "ch" as in "church" and then follow that sound with the sounds "akra" (as in long "a"+"kr"+ short "a" = ah+kr+uh). Prononounced correctly the meaning is "wheel", as in wheel of energy. But, the meaning of the word "shakra" as its said here means something like a "cucumber".

  • red energy root, orange energy sacral, yellow energy solar plexus (power chakra), green energy heart, blue energy throat (purification), royal blue energy inner eye (third eye), violet energy crown

  • vibrations are way, way more effective in empowering your chakras than just visualization. but because i dont want to go into too much detail about the vibrations necessary, let me just tell you that spinning your chakras, like a mini tornado along with the colour of the chakra is very effective.

  • It's actually pronounced like "chuck-ra" with a "ch" sound rather than an s sound. I am only mentioning this because for years I called them "shockras" until I actually did a research paper on them this year and learned the original meaning/pronunciation. So, just for anyone who is interested :) I did a lot of meditating before finals, it really helps you relax and concentrate.

  • @isiah29sixteen it's funny because I actually read a book called "How to Know God" ---Patanjali's Yoga Sutra and it had some passage in it that said if you want to get rid of your thoughts you might as well have someone hit you over the head with a hard object. So I believe that meant the main objective is not to get rid of your thoughts, but to come to know them so you can free yourself of them...Yea I don't know why I told you all of that, but your comment reminded me of that passage. I have been doing it everynight for several weeks and It made my life a lot better.!!! but very recently I havenoticed I have been feeling differently not negitive but none the less unusual and Id prefer it not to be.   • you really need to relax before you do this meditation. If your stressed and restless it isnt going to do anything! try stretching and doing active deep breathing exercises first. and stay peristant !! I promise you it will pay off!!

  • part of meditation sweetie is working through that part. you can do it. I know it was a long time before I did feel anything . in all fairness this is a great guide, but because there is a 10 minute limitation it is quite rushed.

  • Not everyone feels something. Maybe, like Ishkiia says, it will take more work, but maybe this just isn't your thing, and there's nothing wrong with that. If you feel drawn toward some form of meditation, spirituality, or self-healing (or really anything), listen to that voice. If not, let it go.

    Also, bear in mind that meditation is a loaded word that can just refer to relaxation. So close your eyes, clear your mind, and relax your muscles - congratulations, you're meditating! :)

I bet you can eat, dream and walk . its a part of you. sit without seeking. breath without wanting more. be still and know who you really are. dont worry about a grand showcase of entertainment that you seem to want to have. sit 1 min. sit 2 min take a breath at the stop sigh. its all good.
