I was at a reffing seminar and they showed us this video and said what would you call. Even after all the ref's at the seminar discussed the hit and re-watched it multiple times... This is a clean hit. No charge because he glided from the goal-line to the kid, for sure not a hit from behind just because it was from the side. This is just a good hard hockey hit.

Persons who THINK it was cheap and dirty hit... Get some glasses or actually watch the hit. It was NOT FROM BEHIND, he hit him cleanly, AND WAS NOT CHARGING. This guy turned towards the guy who hit him at the last second anyways, so it was more like a hit from the side, which is clean. But before that, start the video at 0:06 seconds, that is when the penalty starts, the guy starts skating straight towards him and doesn't stop until he hits him, the biggest charging I've ever seen in my life.Plus if you watch more closely you can see hit to the head.

So he was there.
