  • Fuck Yoko Ono, Fuck yoo in the hell

    SORRY

  • queen says no to pot smoking fbi members hahahaha

  • Good.

  • This might have pointed out here before but the widescreen theatrical version actually doesn't show the bits "cut off the sides" of the fullscreen version. The film was shot in fullscreen and cropped at the top and bottom to turn it into widescreen for the cinemas... so you're actually seeing less picture here than in the fullscreen version floating about. Just sayin' :P

  • Ono, it's Yoko.

Perhaps the world's most least-talented artist.

Yoko is as much an artist as Britney Spears is a nuclear physicist.

    An ugly, pathetic, parasite.

Please, just shrivel up and blow away.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood FUCK YOU douchebag. You know precisely zero about art. Yoko rules, what you think John Lennon, greatest songwriter of all time just went insane and picked an 'ugly pathetic parasite' as his life mate? Yeah okay. Seriously fuck off

  • 5:48-5:51 after pual says get on the mick you hear john reply, " you don't need to bitch about it"

  • oh yoko, leave us be, leave us be, won't you for f*cks sake leave us be, just travel back to ol' fuchashima and please just leave us be.

  • @LiquorWreckedEmGood shes never personally bothered you ever. if you dont like her you can go fuck off somewhere. noone asked you to pay attention. - John

  • I really want to listen to across the universe now...

  • My God!!! How I love these guys!

  • Beautiful Across The Universe!!!

  • let it be could have been such a wonderful record if it would have been made under normal conditions, just as relaxed as abbey road, but somehow this tenseness of let it be makes it´s charme....

  • jesus, george WAS a saint, somone shoulda kicked paul in the head, and kicked john in the ass

  • Paul, the de facto leader of The Beatles during this period is juiced and fired up.

  • 9:45 -- that´s what it looks like when a coulple is "so in luv they have to share every moment together, and everyone else is just paranoid you know"..LMAO

sorry, mean comment i know, but it has to be said at least one day at a time...

  • 0:57

    desperately happy ))

that´s the way i am gonna say "good morning" to everybody in future...

  • Paul might seem like a douche here, but he was just trying to make a great album. Shame it failed.

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 STFU, its a fantastic album

  • @xMolestedPotato No, it's an average album. Let It Be... Naked is better.

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 well i guess im just a true beatles fan and likes all of their amazing music

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 100x better

  • I've got a feeling that the John, George and Ringo wanted to tell Paul to STFU. And everyone but John wanted Yoko to GTFO.

  • Paul's such a bitch.

  • @Fab4Sunrises look, you have a right to voice your opinion, but if you're just gonna complain about Paul then what's the point?

  • @castielsangel95 I understand where you're coming from. I do love this film but Paul was being just...Ugh. I felt the needn to comment.

BTW, I thank you for being so civil in your reply.

  • @Fab4Sunrises no problem. paul's my favorite and i love him to pieces, but i do get where you're coming from too. oh and ur welcome for being civil. and it's no problem, i mean, rudeness gets us nowhere

  • @Fab4Sunrises woah, that's some pretty strong words for someone who has no idea where he's coming from

  • im sorry but they all look like hobos with hair and beards

  • i love the part with paul and ringo playing the piano together

  • i know that a lot of people think Paul was being bossy and overbearing but he wasn't. he was only trying to do what was right for the band. he has said himself that he is a perfectionist and that he just wanted to get it right. and alot of people think that Paul broke up the band because he was the one to publicly announce the breakup, but he wasn't; it was John. John left first; Paul was the last. Paul wanted to keep the band together!

  • @castielsangel95 From my point of view I see the other guys being quite bored and undriven, and Paul is just trying to get them back in the game.

  • @LesPaul2006 you're right, they were undriven and bored and Paul WAS just trying to get them back into the game, which then came off as Paul being bossy and overbearing

  • I hate when people just jump to the conclusion that Paul was just a bossy prick because that isn't true. Because, yeah, he was being bossy but I think that Paul honestly thought he was doing the right thing for the band. I don't think he was trying to be mean and unfair the others. After Brian died, SOMEBODY had to take charge otherwise they wouldn't go anywhere and Paul was the one to do that. If it had been any of the others to take charge you would say the same about them. Just a thought. :P

  • Awwwww....why does Paul have to be so commandeering? Watching this is decreasing my fondness for Paul..

  • @Ambika2712 Alright, look, i don't mean to be rude or anything and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Paul was not being commandeering. He has said himself that he is a perfectionist and he just wanted to get it right. Besides, after Brian died, someone had to take control and Paul just happened to be the one to step up and be a man about it. He wasn't trying to be bossy or overbearing, he was trying to do what was best for the band.

  • They were not happy, maybe because of Yoko. They did not like the idea that Yoko was there with them rehearsing. .. Except for John, the rest of the Beatles did not like....

  • eveyone has their opinions why they broke up,but you can tell its wrote all over their faces, the guys are tired and worn out to the core, like to release 12 albums in 7 years to compose around 180 songs(Lennon/McCartney) like thats a monumental task to do, its impossible in todays current music scene but they did it......they could only top themselves so many times and when you feel u cant top your previous achievements, the writing is on the wall, and i think thats how they were feeling

  • poor georgie!!! :(

  • awwww it makess me sad when paul is in pain. he prob has a headache in 5:24

  • I swear Yoko was the inspiration behind the 1st 'The Ring' movie.

  • i just came here to hear across the universe

  • my fav of all beatles movies so original and still funny

  • knew what?

  • I don't understand people that are having a problem with Yoko being there. It's not like she's doing anything.

  • @KimiChronic It's just her presance, you know? She's ALWAYS there.....

  • @KimiChronic It's not because she doing anything, its just because prior to her being there it was just the beatles, Brian, Epstein and various studio crew there.

  • This version of Across the universe is WAY Better

  • is this techinicly a movie or is it a behind the scenes thing?

but im not saying i dont like it... cause im not

  • @Msemospongebob It was supposed to be an account of them making an album, ending with a concert. It ended up essentially being a videotaped account of a band breaking up. Really sad to watch, actually.

  • @1982pencil yeah.I saw the first 2 or 3 parts and didn't finish. but ive seen some parts inbetween and the rooftop concert.

  • @Msemospongebob The original plan was that it was going to be a t.v. special of the band rehearsing to return to the stage with all new songs. Then they decided to make it a film about the band recording a new album which was going to be "live," no studio effects or overdubs. There were still plans to have a big finale to the film, such as a concert (they ended up doing the rooftop show). The original album, "Get Back," was shelved and later came out as "Let It Be" after Spector remixed it.

  • @Msemospongebob It was intended as a documentary of them creating their next album and was supposed to end with a live concert but that never happened, the rooftop show at the end was the closest they came to a live performance

  • Ma quanto parla Paul!! XDXD

  • I've got a feeling, that Yoko needs TO STAY HOME.

  • @MrZebraZombie yeah, seriously! it's like "John will not disappear if you are not within two feet of him every single moment!"

  • @MrZebraZombie ive got a feeling that you need to shut the fuck up, pissant. John wanted her there, whos going to dispute the lead beatle? fuck off with your anti-yoko bullshit.

  • 1:25-1:50 Ringo's a fuckin' apeman.

  • I didn't know Ringo could play piano niceee

  • I love when Paul and Ringo rock that piano.

  • Sometimes these jam sessions don't sound so good because of the way their guitar sound changed, I don't think it suits their vocals as well as the old jangly rickenbacker sound but they were constantly changing and were being influenced by new sounds (for the time lol)

  • I found this on dvd.... >.> I didn't know it was on DVD

  • Jeez, I try to give Yoko a break, being John's wife and all, but I cannot stand that woman. Oh yeah, and this needs to be released on DVD or Blu-Ray soon. I would buy it day one.

  • @thevigilanteoflove This is so true.I tried hard too, but I just can't.

  • I wonder if they felt bad, after they went their separate ways, about all the arguing. .

  • Thank you. For a guy who met Paul and Linda on a cold cloudy morning in New Olreans and worshiped John and cried the day he died, cannot believe that it is here that I finally get to see this film. Thank you again.

  • It's hard to watch them bitching with each other but, yet it's so funny to watch. It's like watch Jeremey, James and richard on top gear bitching. It's so funnnyyyy!

  • It's hard to watch them fall apart like this. Ringo's face when Paul's speaking to George says it all really. It does feel like Paul's flogging a dead horse though. So glad that this wasn't there last effort.

  • john at 5:47 "ok you dont have to bitch about it?"

    lol

  • @Ohgeeitvienna i laughed at that too!

  • 7:12 When Paul mentions the Hey Jude incident is when he really hits a nerve with George. My opinion: they were both wrong

  • i HATE how well they r singing i gotta felling yoko radomly joins in and starts singing with them she ruins it

  • i HATE how well they r singing i gotta felling yoko radomly joins in and starts singing with them

  • Paul had to take control because if he didn't this album would have never been made. What this movie doesn't tell you that it was Paul who stayed late in the studio organizing the tracks, basically doing all the background work. The others where nowhere to be found as they lost interest and knew this was the last Beatle album

  • @Dean100able You are aware that this was not the last album right? Last album released and last album are two different things.

  • Ringo and Paul: Both left handed, i'm just shitting around, hehehehehe

  • Everybody loves ringo! :D

  • I LOVE the harmony at 8:23

  • They say that paul wanted to keep the beatles together more than anyone, it really shows here

  • they paul wanted to keep the beatles together more than anyone, it really shows in this movie

  • i know paul can be a twat but i genuinely think he's making an effort here.

  • one person sneezed when they were about to click "like" and the mouse moved and they accidentally hit "dislike"

  • queen says no to pot smoking f.b.i. members

  • This movie is about The 4 Gods of Rock n Roll separating. Going their own invidual ways, But The Beatles will always be the best band in the world. Long Live The Beatles

    RIP Joh & George

  • The thing is: Paul had a song and he imagined the song one way. Then, when he wants to put it on practice, George declines it. I do know that Paul was known to be bitching about everything on these sessions but this footage goes against George in my opinion. When he had a song, I bet he wanted it to be played the way he created it so that was unnecessary. I feel, however, he had the need of showing that he had power in the band too, some value... he was right but unfortunate with the attitudes.

  • Paul at 0:55. Fucking rocking

  • The more I watch this video, the more I have respect for George. He did stand up to Paul,That proves that he was a team player.George could of said"I will play what I want to play"but he never let is ego get in the way.He did bring Billy Preston in to play keyboards on the sessions to relieve the tension within the Group.

  • That was quite emotional where George says; "Look Paul, I'll play what you want me to play, I won't play at all if you don't want me to, Whatever Pleases you, I'll do it." Quite sad that these guys who are the best of friends are being broken apart by a band.

  • georges reply took the red out of mccartneys sweater ))

  • George: "I'll play what you want me to play or I won't play at all if you don't want me to play, now whatever it is that will please you...I'll do it." Wow he covered all bases with that, left Paul speechless.

  • 0:57 --

"good morning" -- great to see how mccartney enjoys simply playing some rock´n´roll, but there is so much frustration in his gesture --

and the false note following as an answer shows what harrison meant with "there was a lot of trivia going on and little games being played" --

  • @MoveOverCasanova I don't see any frustration at all in Paul's actions.

  • @sirmelancholia

at least not as much frustration as in john lennon´s and yoko ono´s faces ---

but this "good morning" sounds pretty much like "what´s up you bloody bastards, we´re the f+++n beatles, so pull yourselfs together a bit"!!!

  • pure torture

  • how shall they play freely when there permanently sits a smartarse girl that so obviously disregards their music,- and her judging looks all the time, extraordinary, what a provocation -- i would have left and told lennon he can have either me or her in the rehearsal room!

  • @MoveOverCasanova lol, allegedly Paul did exactly that but not during these sessions, can't remember for sure but it may have been while they recorded later that spring at Savile Row.

  • @MoveOverCasanova thats what george did off screen

  • WHAT is cut off? The film was shot in 16mm. Know what that is?

  • Morning Paul, Good Morning Rich (: I cant even begin to describe how much I love these guys. Even in all the sadness of making Let It Be, Ringo and Paul seem to still have fun together. The Beatles FOREVER!

  • i wish yoko never met john cz if she never did he would b alive and harrioson 2 srry i kant spell but cz of her they wer fighting!!!!:(cz of her theres nomore beatles they would still b 2gether!

  • @vikkinikki97 I don't think it was Yoko's fault- John's killer actually thought that it was soley John that ruined the group. They had all been fighting since the White Album sessions, it was only a matter of time before they split up. Ironically, when Ringo left for a short while, the rest of the band felt bad and asked him to come back. But when Paul left...they just gave up. So could it be Paul's fault? Who knows...

  • @vikkinikki97 how does yoko and john never meeting possibly stop george from getting cancer?

  • @sonny101toots i knew it!

  • Ringo at 6:43 looks like a child in the middle of a divorce.

  • @rainbowsandwar

    Haha!

  • Ringo and Paul seemed to have fun on that piano despite the overall mood of the Let It Be sessions.

  • i don't personally like yoko

however I do believe that we are entilted to date who ever we want despite what our parents, friends, our in their case fans say

she was the scapegoat for the break up, paul not signing with alen klein/ george's wanting to make more songs all contributed to the breakup

  • @wiecbb11 But he didn't have to bring her to the recording sessions. That, as any musician will tell you is verboten. I love Lennon , but it was wrong of him to include her in the Beatles' business. He did it on purpose too to exacerbate the tension in the air that was alreeady there in the hope that the other 3 would just throw up their hands and say, "that's it, it's over. I quit!" Then he wouldn't have to be the one to burst the bubble because he wanted out even back in '66.

  • I love when Paul and Ringo jam together on piano- Ringo is never apreciated but he's the only Beatle who never argued with the others and was so willing to have fun

  • I love Paul to death, all of them: But damn, I would get pissed off too. He's damn annoying in this session! No wonder George walked out. I'm surprised John is keeping his cool.

  • let it be ah refreshing and inspiring it gave them more post beatle room for intangible and clueless with their last hit get back

  • i like the part in Iv'e Got A Feeling where john says everbody's got a wet dream

  • I hate when fight teams happens! We can notice that Paul was the natural leader but he didn't have the authority or power to make it work all because he was one more of the 4 team, not like Eapstein or G. Martin.

  • What a Nice Style to play the Drumms! You Rock Ringo!

  • Oh gosh, Paul and Ringo's little piano bit totally made my day. How great was that!

  • 5:24. It makes me sad when Paul looks sad. :(

  • Wow, my gorgeous Ringo giving it some welly on the old Joanna

  • 5:54 - "Paul says to john, get on the mic - listen what John says after that "ok, dont sort of bitch about it tho.." - just shows the tension...paul seems to be running everything.

  • yea, paul was always the producer, john was the 'spark' for lack of a better term. maybe he got too controlling.

  • D-D-B-B-B-E minor, A7, D-D-D-A... this is a very nice song to play on acoustic. Those B's are minors. Throw in E7 and A7 for the chorus and there you are eddie. PC 31 bought a piece of bubblegum.....

  • @MJequalsPBeatles: "Paul" got so annoying when he was replaCIAed.

  • Question, is this movie just nothing but, like behind the scenes stuff about the beatles? Not really a plot or anything like that?

  • i think it was kind of a documentary on how they recorded their albums. too bad it was right before the break up of the band, im sure it they did the same thing in their earlier days, it woulda turned out alot happier

  • Sorta makes me wonder though if Paul was a "control freak", because how many differant line up did Wings have? He'd only have a full band for one or two albums then the drummer quit or the lead guitarist quit. Henry McCullough and Denny Sewell quit cause they didn't wanna go to Africa to record "Band On The Run" And the other guiterist Jimmy McCullough had a fallen out with Paul, and then eventaly the long time member Denny Laine had enough. So apparently, there's a history.

  • I seen this movie all the way through on YouTube, but there were some parts left out where Linda appeared. I saw her daughter Heather in it though, she was cute the way she tried to join in.

  • 4:30 AWESOME

  • Comment removed

  • 4:24 the only living beatles

  • If you listen closely around 5:50 you can hear John tell Paul to "Bitch about it why don't you". HILARIOUS!

  • The version of across of the universe is brillant very good

    THE BEATLES FOREVER

  • Pauls the boss

    sorry George love you anyway

  • Paul really loves to make music

  • hahahaha ohhhhh yeah

  • I think "know" and "ya" are the two most commonly said words by the Beatles :P

  • @Cazarellagaia "love" has got to be near the top somewhere too

  • @abcdefgnu Yeah, ya know, ya gotta have love, ya know :P

  • "Well I'll play whatever you want me to play, or I won't play anything at all. Whatever it is that pleases you, I'll do it."

  • i love how paul and ringo just start playing the piano spontaneously like it's not the awesomest thing ever!!

  • When paul asks john to get closer to the mic because he cannot hear him, does john reply "well you don't have to bitch about it.".

-you can also tell there was a lot of tension during rehearsal towards the end of their careers-

  • when?

  • @TheBeatle65 at 5:43 it really quick listen carefully

  • @CarlosS0808 Ok I know people dont like Yoko but no need to say you want her killed!!!

  • yeah

  • @JoBrofanxoxo14 Yeah, that's what we get for Hiroshima. Yoko Oh-no living rich in the US . Damn! Payback is a bitch!

  • @JoBrofanxoxo14 No. It's just simply the truth. LOL!

  • Hehe Greatest Comment Ever.

  • @RubHerSoul1 LOL

  • @RubHerSoul1 it was 7 shots..

  • @lynottlives Whatever it was, they all missed Yoko! That's my point. The only bright side of that is that at least John is finally free of that miserable twat once and for all. I'm sure he's been resting in great peace for the last 30 years if anybody is. But we of course still have to endure that phony bitch over and over again. Ugh!

  • @RubHerSoul1 Excuse me, but that "phony bitch" has been keeping John's music and spirit alive since his death. She's created charities and annual contests and organizations in his name, helping other aspiring musicians and children all over the world. She has fought to keep his killer in jail for life, and I'm positive she still loves him. He said it himself, he wanted them to be considered one entity, johnandyoko. So don't blame Yoko. The group had problems ever since Cynthia, his first wife...

  • @hiphopsucks96 yeah, with all the millions she got from him, and she thinks she's a humanitarian? what a trooper. she was nobody before she lured him in. BTW, what musicians did she ever help besides her son. She also made damn sure Julian got nothing unless he begged for it. Oh well, Hitler and Manson still have a small contingent of fans who feel they did no wrong.

  • @RubHerSoul1 How do u think I know what specific musicians she's helped? Yoko didn't directly kill him, so what's the harm? Do U want Chapman out loose again? She's made sure he hasn't been. John walked out of the limo ten paces behind Yoko- apparently he wanted Yoko safe. And r u KIDDING? How could u compare an unsuccessful conceptual artist that never killed someone in their life to Hitler and Manson? I'm not a Yoko fan, but I don't want people to bash her when she did nothing.

  • @hiphopsucks96 Jesus. if i didn't know any better i'd think you were Yoko herself. No one's letting Chapman out of jail whether she says anything about it or not. that's for HIS safety, sadly enough. BTW, how many Yoko records do you own? Art is not sawing a chair in half and charging 500 dollars for it my friend. that's just a snake oil salesman. I'll stick with Renoir, Picasso or Van deMeer. You keep Yoko. Fair enough

  • @RubHerSoul1 Can we just agree to disagree? This is going nowhere...And Chapman has had the right to parole for a long time, but Yoko has worked tirelessly to keep him in prison.

  • @hiphopsucks96 ok. fine. but you really can't defend heron any type of rational terms. whatever "good thing" she may have done for someone other than herself is vastly eclipsed for all the shitty things she's done. and i don't blame her for breaking up the Beatles; that was bound to happen one way or another. But she didn't have to exacerbate things even further.

  • @RubHerSoul1 k, I can agree with u on that.

  • @RubHerSoul1 4 shots

  • @TopShowsHere 4 shots that missed YOKO!!! LOL!

  • @JoBrofanxoxo14 Because he just wanted to be home and do some smack. Not being facetious, he was going through his heroin phase at this time.

  • I've got a feeling that Yoko should not be there

  • @aprlk Where? The planet Earth? LOL!

  • Oh yeah

  • @aprlk That old buzzard will live to be a hundred years old! And still living off John's riches!

  • Paul and George should have hugged it out after their argument lol!
