Walter is my favorite organ player after 1960 and Jesse Crawford before 1960. They played completely for the song and the result was a huge amount originality and stylistic playing that few can match.
I've posted a lot of organ records on my channel under 'Uploads'. Also several organ video playlists, under 'Playlists'
Insano organ player - Walter has my heart and he makes want to cook up dishes for girls I haven't meet yet - brilliant in the kitchen, relaxing with some drinks... having a good time.
At age 18, in 1966, my peers didn't seem to be interested in music beyond the pop songs of the day, Beatles/Rolling Stones/Animals/TJ and Shondells, etc. But in addition to enjoying the pop groups then, I became instantly enamored with Walter Wanderley music the first time I heard "Summer Samba" which didn't do too bad on the pop charts for non "60's" type pop music.
It is amazing to me how good some of these old records still sound. I will never part with my turntable. Someone once said that a lot of entertainment value dissappeared with the advent of cds. I wonder if they're right sometimes....

Thank you for sharing! Music from a time when musicians mastered their instruments and voices rather than using auto-tune and equalizers....
I miss those days
