I'm happy with my 2009 Bringbacks and 2010 TZ's, and from what I've read from people who own both, the differences are minute.

I had two pairs back in '90, basketball and tennis ball-style, respectively, which had all my friends running out and getting their own. There were stories in the news of kids in different parts of the country getting robbed and killed for their shoes, mainly in the inner cities, which kind of put a damper on our materialism. Still, I liked the shoes a lot, but they sure as hell didn't last long.
