  • Thats my wife! The lions by themselves were a great sighting for us when the hyenas appeared; she didnt hold back her enthusiasm. It was really exciting. In the Serengeti I was fortunate to have seen 3 lions take a kill from 5 hyenas (the roars were incredible). In Ruaha, we thought the hyenas had sufficient numbers to drive the cats off but the lions kept the kill for the two hours that we watched. Thanks for the comment.

  • Ruaha is the most incredible place on earth. True, absolute wilderness. The sounds of the animals at night is electrifying...
