  • Awesome video! Great editing. Thanks for sharing.

  • hmm. funny. though it does sound like someone has walked thru a HMV with a recording device concealed in his/her underwear. no, i don't really know what thats like.

  • great video mate. i love this tune and it's nice that someone went to the effort of picking out some kickass visuals to go with it

  • great video mate. i love this tune and it's nice that someone went to the effort of picking out some kickass visuals to go with it

  • Really good job on this... makes me want to binge on some Bond movies.

  • listen to it in headphones.

  • While I don't particularly care for this particular "sound" or "style" of music as much as the original Barry style and version(s), I nonetheless *do* (1) find this particular piece likable & enjoyable, so (2) thanks for posting it!! (And, yeah, from about 4:57 or so on, it's a slightly jazzed-up (as far as the background accompaniment) version of "Capsule in Space" (aka "Space March") form YOLT. Again, thanks for this post...

  • John Barry made some awful music ay? Ha haw haw ha Glorious stuff.

  • My opinion is that Diana Rigg was much better in "The Avengers", the original series.

  • M and the ministry would approve!

  • This is an excellent track for the Bond series they don,t make movies like these anynore great chracter actors good fighting scenes great villians and gourgeous women my favorite was Dianna Rigg from on her majestys secret service

  • PS - Lois Maxwell is looking hot at 7:15 as a WREN ;-)

  • ... Sure there's probably something primal in the 'destroy the bad guys' and 'get the girl' ethos that harkens back to our deep evolutionary past.

But with Bond there is also the quality of the Everyman, and a decent British everyman at that, which gives these timeless concerns a nuance and meaningfulness that transcends these basic instincts.

(Either that, or I've had too much wine this evening...)

  • This is a splendid montage. Makes me feel that there is something truly heroic about Bond - in the sense that he's cunning as Odysseus and brave as Achiles, but fallible and mortal. A universal human sense...

  • 7:07!!

  • I,m a huge Bond fan - if you ever needed to sell Bond this is the 9 minutes and 34 seconds to use. Class.

  • no its not it was used to the opening of the crater in You only live twice and again on the Moonraker film when the spaceship swallowed the little one.

  • @rosstb1

yeah I said it was from you only live twice, and I think u'll find that "when the spaceship swallowed the little one" is also from you only live twice not moonraker

  • I've always thought Lazenby was the only Bond actor who looked like he was a bit handy with his fists.

The others are all a bit too 'luvvy'.

  • Well, done!

  • Cool vid bro

  • blazing action

  • he survives, although the flock he gathers. I've enjoyed this movie T O T A L L Y F R E E @ MovieWatcher (dot) US

  • 0:02 What is it sound pleas ?

  • its from the tomorrow never dies soundtrack

    its called

    White Knight

  • Thank you...this video is brilliant ;) 5/5 x)

  • Will M ever die from an old age???

  • do you know the name of the track that comes in around 5:12? im trying to find it but i dont know which film its from, i thought it may be moonraker, any elp would be awesome.

nice vid btw makes me wanna watch all the bond films again.

  • i honestly dont know the name of the track i just listen 2 it as part of this remix

but i can tell you its from you only live twice, possibly listed as space walk or something

  • i found it finally. the tracks called "capsule in space" and "james bond - astronaut" thanks for your help :)

  • @tardiselliot I think it's James Bond - Astronaut from You Only Live Twice. Very similar to Capsule in Space but with a quicker tempo and they've dialled down the drums in this.

  • @tardiselliot It's From Moonraker, and is called Moonraker: Flight Into Space. Space March is also an epic track ;-)

  • @tardiselliot It's From Moonraker, and is called Moonraker: Flight Into Space. Space March is also an epic track ;-)

  • @chuckieegg

well it might be featured in moonraker, bin a while since I saw it so I can't confirm, but it def originated in You Only Live Twice

  • The music starting at 5:12 was played during the space sequences. Love the music. Check out the music for the space satellite sequence on Diamonds are Forever.

  • @tantomucho Actually, its from"You only live twice" :O)

  • The track is called "James Bond - Astronaut" off the You only live twice soundtrack

  • @jobiwan101 It's called Space March composed by John Barry

  • @jobiwan101 It is from the You Only Live Twice soundtrack

  • @jobiwan101 You Only Live Twice. The name of the track is "Bond Averts World War Three"

  • awsome compilation!

  • Haven't heard this in years - great track, awesome video. Nice work!

  • I declare this track to be the ultimate Pirate Party theme song!

  • why pirate party? its not piratey at all, in my opinion any way. my top choice for a pirate party would probably be "captain bogg and salty, pieces of 8ight" look it up :D

  • yeah I agree. i mean, just for the feel of it. it's a real party after all.

  • Love this song! Discovered while stationed in Germany in the 90's, great tune to work out/run to.

  • Great song.

  • certainley

  • lazenby is one of the best bond charakter

  • Cool it, guys. 2bin is allowed to hate it, just as I am allowed to LOVE it. This is a f**kin' great tune and an awesome remix, and as someone else says it seems to never end. LazenbyBond forever! I do like 'shit stick' a lot, Devilbat. I'll use that next time someone pisses me off. :)

  • I love this, its fantastic!

Its like the song will never finish!

  • amazing :D

  • it was just so cool !

    very well done

    nice job !

    bravo !

  • Yeah, very funny, idiot.

  • picture of eva green reminds me of an exgirlfriend,i shagged her something rotten. Good song good mix,5/5.

  • who is Eva Green? can you show me on time in the video

  • casino royale

  • 0:50

  • I love this track and I'm delighted that someone's created a video that does it justice. Excellent choice of scenes and sharp editing. Great job, thanks a lot.

  • original is best. Cant beat the orig OHMSS

  • then ur clearly crazy. its very good. really good modernisation of the best bond score

  • :o its not as good as the original ohmss

  • Yeah, all the disco really moderns it up.

  • shut the fuck up you shit stick

  • I think the them from ohmss and the original bond theme are my faviourites from the bond movies.

  • Pretty good vid.

  • MORAL: Beware of old broads with machine guns.

  • Best Bond theme: "You Only Live Twice" The Donald Pleasence character was the model for Austin Powers' Dr. Evil.

  • This is awesome... brings back alot of memories of those double features. For $2 of course... The spy who loved me and The man with the golden gun.

  • I saw these guys live. This was the only tune I knew. Ha Ha. The main guy was laughing at me stood at the front of the stage just waiting for the Bond tune.

THEN I WENT NUTS WITH BONDMANIA!!!!!

  • im jealous

id love to hear this live

  • best Bond music ever !

    Propellerheads ruUules ! !

  • Very nice, but what happened to the Die Another Day clips?

  • i only had clips for Dr No up till Goldeneye for this

Casino Royale was just bits of the trailer id managed to get

  • mmmh, they were v funny, but not on the 16th xmas rerun!

  • dont you all think that you are taking yourselves too seriously with all this 'in house bickering' its a franchise at the end of the day and has to move with the times. im a huge bond fan and try to just enjoy them even if they are a bit cheesy at times ( 80s - 90s )!

  • the cheesy elements of the Moore films are brillaint lol

    Some of the best

  • last of my comments. sorry if I came off as disrespectful to those who believe Bond changes with each actor. I was only commenting against Dagga07s comment about "True fans". Any Bond fan is a true Bond fan in my opinion. just as long as youve seen any decent bond film or read any bond book and enjoyed it, then youre alright in my book.

  • mate i dont think anyone was offended but anyway ive read the books and most of them are very differnet to the films so we cant really say that the books and the films are the same continuity! in the books m is never a woman! and the movie casino royale isnt set in the past is it?

  • I apologize. I realize that both arguments can be backed up. as for casino royale I do admit that it makes sense with it continuing as M is still dench. but it could also be that Dench is still alive so why replace an M with good ratings. I admit that I did take offense to the comment about not being a Bond fan as I do not agree with your Bond theory. but I agree that the movies only minimally depict the books. but I assume you also agree that both sides can be argued without 1 being "right".

  • yes i agree both sides hav valid points and seen as theres no offical timeline then we can all pick the ones we like!

  • What is the theme that starts aprox at 5:00. From Moonraker??

  • its all the same song

    on her majestry secret service

originally that part was called space walk or something

its from you only live twice

n i didnt think i had moonraker clips

just connery mainly n some compliation vids

  • This is a right fucking mess.

  • hoo - rah

  • its judi denchs mum, they just happened to look EXACTLY the same, argument over

  • haha!!

  • I have the Properellerheads CD single for this - very cool. Great Vid too. Good post - thanks

  • the genius is david arnold^^

  • good point

    dont forget the propeller heads

  • whoever made this is a genius. Quality video

  • This is really f***ing cool. The music is outstanding. Excellent job.

  • is there a fatter sound anywhere?

  • Hey, I've been looking for this for AGES! Great job! :)

  • i think it's in you only live twice i'm not sure though

  • does anyone know what the piece of music is called which starts at 5.15??

it's been used ina few bond films, but I can't find it on here anywhere!

  • It's from "You only live twice" and called either "Space March" or "Capsule in space" (on the official soundtrack it's "Capsule in space", on a John Barry collection I have it's "Space March/Capsule in space".) Hope this helps.

  • Not really a da of the new bond, though it could be the style in which its shot, i gre up when bond was escapism, fantasy, new bond is gritty and realistic, which is great if thats what you want but there are a dozen crime/action shows that have the same look. I prefer escapism with style which bond was

  • Classic tune.....many thanks for posting...

  • ok so by that logic daniel craigs bond should be about 80years old and why would it be his first mission under judi denchs M when brosnon already worked with her b4 and why would she miss the cold war call brosnon a dinosaur but then molly coddle craig and its clearly not a prequel.

Also daniel craig is sas and brosnan was navy different guys!!!

  • yes were all well aware the daniel craig isnt the same man

    its a reboot.

n as for being 80 yrs old

    who cares its a film

  • ok saying its a reboot makes more sense but it cant be a reboot if judi dench is still M, when she first arrived as M she was a new M for brosnan she was a replacement for m not a reboot of m, so i think she is playing the same character she played since goldeneye which means its a continuation. in die another day brosnans bond quits and leaves with jinx and the diamonds its blatant that the next bond will be a new guy! its all there in each film, please guys do some research into my theory!!

  • yeh your theories the same as mine- M is replaced as well as 007, like with Q - we saw him in nearly every bond film but then they stopped and got in Basil Faulty

  • haha egfuukinsactly!!! its a bit obviuos but some people just cant get their heads round it! john cleese was R in his first bond and became Q by his last bond dosent that mean its the same for bond, brosnon bond was the only one who knew both Q's!!! surely that confirms my point Dangale and its not a reboot either tardiselliot.

  • its not just restarted over - hell no - the bonds are in a line - connery replaced by moore - lazenby - brosnan - craig etc = there just given james bond as a codename - like with john cleese replacing Q - the evidance is there, but most people cant see it

  • at last another bond fan with some sense and who knows how to watch movies properly! honestly i dont know how u can even call urself a bond fan if u cant see these simple facts!!

its a new guy everytime they change actors!

  • really Dagga07? cant call ourselves fans? Q/M are codenames as mentioned in the films. "007" is a codename as mentioned. "Bond" is the same person in every movie and novel. example: OHMSS (Lazenby), Tracy Bond dies and is buried. For Your Eyes Only (Moore), the graveof tracy is revisited. and what are the odds that MI6 always hires vodka drinking, sex craved agents? Casino Royale is just bond's beginning as in the books. any "True" fan who has read the books knows bond refects on past events.

  • also i think i mentioned b4 in a comment that visiting lazenbys wifes grave was a trick by roger moore to lure blofeld out so that he could kill him. Notice that moore deals with blofeld in just one intro to a film wheras previous bonds took whole movies to finish blofeld and still couldnt kill him, proof that moore was a superior bond to his previous incarnations!

  • well it can be argued that the "This never happened to the other fellow" line is just comical satire. I mean does Bond know he's filmed and decides to talk to the camera? and one of the past comments was right. In OHMSS there was going to be a scene with bond getting surgery to explain the character change. why would Moore get upset in The Spy who Loved Me when triple X mentions Tracy? why does Felix mention Tracy's death in License to Kill? same with brosnan in the World is not enough?

  • 23 Movies, 6 Actors, all James Bond the character, code named 007, the secret service agent. You should watch the films again, you've lost the plot somewhere

  • I like the film, but I can't understand one thing. If Blofeld knows Bond in ''you only live twice'',why doesn't he recognise Bond in this film?can anyone respond me?

  • basically its a continuity error! i read somewhere that bond was originaly scripted to have plastic surgery! probs forgot to rescript that part! i dont actualy know if thats true mind

  • yes, furthermore,it'd be possible due to the change connery-lazenby.Maybe the change of actor meaned the plastic surgery, but anyway,it's only a film!thank you and merry christmas!

  • its not an error its supposed to be a new bond, hence in the opening scene lazenby says the line this never happened to the other fellow meaning connery!

each time there is a new actor its supposed to be a new bond! james bond 007 is just the codename.

i thought all bond fans knew these facts!!

  • that is total bollocs

since connery is back the film after lazenby as a blatant continuation and there are many references to his past

  • yes i know it continues connery returns obviously lazenby bond was distroat after the death of "his" wife (connery or moore wud never have married), he couldnt continue they needed connery to retuen...

  • really its not an error watch each film carefully specially the first film for each actor and connerys return and the truth is there to see in plain sight!!!(infact the last film for each actor also shows many signs that this guy wont be returning), each actor is a new agent with the codename james bond 007!

there are no prequels!!bond is not immortal.

  • I wouldn't normally get involved in an argument on youtube as it's impossible to win one, but I feel I should point out that in no film or book does it ever even suggest that 'James Bond' is a codename (M, perhaps); it's just that time means the same actor can't keep playing him, so they adjust the film's continuity accordingly. It's impossible to film Bond's first adventure without reseting the series, but it's all the same character. Rather obviously. In fact I'm amazed you think otherwise!

  • im sorry but that just dosent make sense you cant be on your first mission in 2006 casino royale when you started out in the 60s doctor no, if it were the same character craigs bond wud be set in the 60s or it wud be a retelling of the character like in batman begins, bales batman isnt micheal keatons batman in comic book movie continuity they both exsist as batman in seperate dimensions wereas val kilmers batman is micheal keatons batman but not bales!!!

  • i dont usually get involved in these rants either btu i think this is a good discussion.

how do you explain M becoming a woman, how do you expklain so many felix lighters and why wud tehy all have the same Q

  • yeah i agreewith ya dangale

  • ok guys so we'll agree to disagree for now,

thats cool, lets just all be happy that bond is still live and well and will return with his quantum of solace!

i think i'll go make a documentary to look into what we have discussed i know im not the only one who has my view on the subject!

i like all the bond actors so far but brosnan and moore are my joint 1st with dalton close 2nd. whats yours?

    peace out guys!

  • and i no it dosent say it in the books because the book is one character but im talking about the films only, its the only way to explain certain other characters and things in the film canon. if its how u say it is then we may as well think that every james bond movie is a reboot/reimagining

  • I see. So Roger Moore visits George Lazenby's wife's grave in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY because he's bored, does he?

Don't be silly. By that logic there were over 20 orphaned babies raised by apes all called Tarzan, each one a different person. Lazenby's line was a nod to the audience, not a reference to a different character.

  • Lets all agree that James Bond is the best and all the actors who got to portray him are very lucky, and all showed talent in different areas

  • very well said

  • :D thanks

  • Yeah, Moore was "amazin" (sic) as Bond - "amazin" that he lasted so long and couldn't act. I reiterate:

Moore was a contemptible buffoon and the producers should have been ashamed of what they allowed to happen to a great franchise and series of films with

him as Roger Moore as 'Barry Campbell' as Roger Moore.

  • Shut Up Shithead McShitshit!!!

  • Really witty response - now maybe you can summon up enough hand-eye coordination to clap

    your hands.

  • Roger Moore was a complete buffoon! Lazenby was very

good. Dalton was the truest portrayal of them all -

right by the book(s) - and so the best.

  • moore was amazin as bond!

  • Roger Moore is the best :D

  • That was fantastic!!!! .... Lazenby rocks...wish he could've been in more than one, but his was the best.

  • as much as i liked dimonds r forever id hav loved to see lazenby in it as a proper sequel! it would hav been amazing! his revenge was really destroyed in the pretitles! connery just wasnt that kind of bond! it needed lazenby to restore anger in him- kinda how daniel craig is in casino royale

  • great tune thanks for sharing and i agree with you comments to it would have been good him getting revenge i also like how they have added in space march from you only live twice????

  • yeah its a brilliant peice of music!

  • OHMSS is a great tune to have in your head while skiing. I first heard David Arnold and the Propellerheads'version in Aberdeen, Scotland in

    '97. It's a great cover!

  • thank you for sharing! i'm a lazenby fan. it's sad to know that people keep comparing him to connery. they are too different people. and i prefer the emotional bond over a misogynist bond

  • thanx dude...at least lazenby gets a fair chance here along with the others lol. hey may not be better than connery but at least he's better than roger moore

  • i love all the bonds! each had their own qualities! Lazenby did this superb film! n moore brought a sort of cheesy but funny element to it!

  • i enjoy all the bond movies, so i understand ya dude...bedside moore wasn't bad as many think he was lol

  • Exactly! he did some of the greats! if u dont acknoledge his last 2!
