Eigentlich hätte die deutsche LH im Jahr 2006 ihren 80en feiern!

Aber nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wurde sie neu gegründet! Für mich geht die Lufthansa bis in die Weimarer Republik zurück! Auch wenn es das grausame Ereigniss gab an welchem die LH mitverantwortlich ist!

It would make sense considering that planes of that era flied relatively "low" and didn't need to be as sealed-tight as modern-day aircraft. I'm sure there was that idiot here and there that though it would be cute to open the window in flight and.. quickly pay the consequences.

I took LH. its ok but nothing special. I prefer the asian ones like Cathay, Singapore or asiana. i know everybody is sayin that, but its true, the service qualitiy on asian carriers is just somewhat different (better). U get more for the same amount of money...

Außerdem: vergleich doch mal das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Bei Germanwings und co hast du glück wenn du was zu trinken bekommst, bei ryan-air bezahlt man für eine coke onboard min 2€ und Lufthansa bietet im Vergleich einen Service der das tausendfache von dem ist was billigflug-gesellschaften anbieten. Auserdem sind die Stewardessen viel hübscher ;)

No, Airbus already has 3 accidents (one gear failure, one caught fire, and one caught fire after overruning the runway in toronto. Both that caught on fire were scraped). Meanwhile, the 777 is the only major plane in service that hasn't suffered a hull loss due to crash. Only one person died during a fuel fire in denver. The plane was repaired and put back into service. For other planes, thats because those planes were more used and older than the history of airbus itself.

Thats because some boeing planes have a longer history that the entire airbus history. Most of the crashes happened in the 70's when airbus was still a young company. By the time airbus became a dominant company, safety has already improved a lot, so there were less crashes.
