I wanna make a game where the NPCs of the starting town give hints to future power ups that you would expect, but then never put them in the game. Just a bunch of useless power ups that let you change colors or one to restart the level with the click of a button while you can do that in the start menu.

It's odd, the jumping/sticky physics are identical to an obscure SNES platformer called Smartball. I wonder if there's any actual relation or if I'm just projecting nostalgia.

This game reminds me a lot of An Untold Story (AUS) which I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys metroidvania style games.

On that snail underwater topic,I know for a fact that slugs can live underwater.Once,I found one on the edge of a water tank,and pushed it in the water to see what would happen.What do you know,three hours later,it was back where it was at the beginning.
