Yeah, it's obviously CGI. It's just too expensive to do a 15 to 30 second stop motion ad today.

@GuitarPlaya2000 Actually it's probably more expensive to do the CGI, but the reason they pay more for it is so that when Speedy jumps up, the computer fills in the action blurs and creates a more natural motion compared to the "King Kong" style. Stop Motion is not expensive, thousands of people have posted videos that they did in their own homes.

Okay .... the CGI or Stop Motion mystery coming to a QUICK anti-climatic conclusion. This is pure CGI synthetic artificial fake puppet. Not Stop Motion. I did further digging and found out, a New York 100% CGI Studio did this. You can go to their website .... 'Framestore dot kom' and at bottom of page click 'view' > 'commercials in New York'

The original Speedy from the 50's is stop motion and when they bring him back, they do him in CGI that makes him look more modern. I think Speedy have the same voice actor as Jimmy Neutron.

Based on the sync, I'd say it's stop-mo... I would imagine if it was CGI, the sync would be a little cleaner! (It's VERY reminiscent of the old Rankin-Bass stop-motion!)
