When I grew up, Kmart had an extremely negative stigma to it, that poor people shopped there. Kids used to tease others if their parents shopped there. On the whole, Kmart struggles because competitors like Target present themselves and their merchandise better, along with selling slightly-higher-quality merchandise. Long-term solution: Kmart needs to polish itself and sell better quality goods even if it means lower profits.
the kmart where i live has been remodeled since before i was born, the other kmart in my county also has been changed, the kmart in my city the store was just painted but the sign stayed, lots of another kmart in my area like a 1 hour and a half from my city was replaced by a home depot, kmarts are cool, but the signs are not changed just like sears the sears in my city never been changed since its opening in 1988, sears and kmart aways kept there signs the same since the 80s or 90s

I'm a supervisor at my local K mart, and I can say that our store looks a lot better than your local K mart. Our doors still are automatic! I have a question about your problem with the sales though. Since when are sales a bad thing? Wal Mart does have a larger variety of items and some things are probably less expensive. At my Wal Mart, however, the customer service is atrocious. Their store is always very sloppy and the lines are horrendous. I prefer to shop at k mart, always have.

This Kmart looks excellent compared to many. Did you ever stop to think the sign hasn't been replaced because the logo is still the most current one in use by Kmart...duh! You kids haven't seen sorry Kmarts. There are still some out there that date to the 1960's with their original signage intact.

you guys nailed it on the head, K-Mart sucks, Wal-Mart ran them out of my state of Texas, where now it's Wal-Mart country along with Target too. i live in Campbell which means, there's two Wal-Marts near me in Commerce and Greenville, which is in Hunt County, while the Nearest Target is in Rockwall, in Rockwall County. the closest K-Mart before it closed down in 2003 was in Greenville.
the last thing i ever bought at that K-Mart was two WWE CDs (WWF Forceable Entry and WWE Anthology, both came out in 2002, but Forceable Entry came out before the WWE changed there name from the WWF thanks to losing a lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund) with Christmas money in late 2002, a few months before that store closed down.

haha im liking all this negative feedback, it kinda makes me want to make another kmart video. The fact that watching this video makes you guys pissed off, means that my video was a success. whether you like it or not. so keep up all the hate mail, it makes me laugh.

you cam across as very timid and insecure while filming this, you were not comical or witty in anyway. when ever you were confronted by a store employee you went red in the face and shy and this is why you get 1 star

alot of people. you attempted to go into a store and be comical, but you failed, miserably. your commentary on clothing brands was painful to hear. it didn't come across as humor, it made you sound like spoiled rich kids still riding on mommy and daddy's coat tails.
and comedy is all about confidence and timing, neither existed here, in fact i had trouble watching this, i felt embarrassed for you.
