Chinese New Year is celebrated by the Chinese people all over the world, even more so in major cities. The culturally-curious British people means that the event in London have mushroomed in recent years.
Some people may have found this year a bit disappointing though, because the stupid police wouldn't allow lion dancing (the main attraction!) into the narrow streets of Chinatown itself, fearing overcrowding.
